Canada's Drag Race Season 2 Shakeup: New Judges Replacing Stacey McKenzie and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman
Canada’s Drag Race will be serving some very different looks when it returns for Season 2 later this year.
Following the news that neither Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman nor Stacey McKenzie will be returning as judges, we can officially welcome their replacements to the panel: Handmaid’s Tale actress Amanda Brugel and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski. Additionally, Season 1 correspondent Traci Melchor is being bumped up to full-time judge. That trio joins Brooke Lynn Hytes, the only returning judge from Season 1.

Conan O'Brien and Rdio have teamed up to put out quite a few "mixtapes" on Team Coco, and the newest one is an excellent glimpse of today's best up-and-coming comedians, as well as some more well-known acts thrown in.
It's clear that Conan is one of the biggest champions of stand-up comedy in entertainment right now. This year alone, he's had more comics perform than any other show (23, versus the next runner up, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," only has had 9). After Hours, a web-only stand-up series on Team Coco, is hosted by comedian Pete Holmes, who's currently shooting a pilot for a talk show to follow "Conan."
This mixtape's playlist is as follows:
1. Hannibal Buress - "I Don't Know You Either"
2. Rory Scovel - "Hunger"
3. Reggie Watts - "Fuck Shit Stack"
4. Tig Notaro - "Taylor Dayne"
5. Pete Holmes - "Laughing Alone"
6. T.J. Miller - "D.J. Stop 'N' Talk (f.

First up, clear your schedules, because snicks is liveblogging Days of Our Lives today, and from what I hear around the newsroom, he's liveblogging all next week (including Memorial Day).
Molly Ringwald may be getting pushback on whether Ducky was gay, but she can be sure she's surrounded by a bunch of gays when she's the Grand Marshall of L.A. Pride.
One Million Moms is boycotting both Marvel and DC over their gay characters, which I'm certain they're grateful for. Evidently though, it's not gay if there's a robot penis involved.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is calling out the National Organization for Marriage for their tendency to denounce extremist groups for their language while still linking out to their anti-gay screeds and discredited studies. I bet Brian Brown would love the martyr status that would come with being designated a hate group.
Alvin McEwen has an excellent rebuttal...

Jonas Brothers apparently scrap the word "panties" from their vocabulary when speaking in public. In a recent interview with Toronto Sun, Trevor Boris who writes the script for MuchMusic Video Awards unraveled the fact that the particular word is included in Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas' list of "no no" words.
"Last year, with the Jonas Brothers hosting, there were all these weird rules. Like, they wouldn't say the word panties," Trevor recalled when talking about writing the script for the awards show. "And I can't even remember why we were trying to say panties. But they had this long list of things they wouldn't say. It is funny some of the things you run into when the artists' representatives get involved."
Discussing about this year's MuchMusic, the writer admitted that co-host Miley Cyrus could be more lenient with what she can and cannot say. "I feel...

Montreal -- Mo Mandel and Trevor Boris were among the standouts at the second "New Faces" showcases at the Just for Laughs comedy festival here Thursday night.
Industry observers also lauded the performances of Nate Bargatze and Anjelah Johnson on the show featuring up-and-coming standups.
Hosted by Dana Gould, the show drew — as it traditionally does — a big crowd of managers, agents, network executives and comedy fans. Industry folks gave the showcase good grades for the overall quality of its performers.
Boris drew laughs with jokes about his gay farmer life ("I drive a John Queer") and working at the lost and found of an airport.
Mandel, among other things, had audiences in stitches with bits about his family, high gas prices, Nascar and Jewish girlfriends.
Johnson's youthful energy and jokes about how men of different ethnicities hit on women differently also earned her positive reviews.
And Bargatze pointed with material about non-monkey DNA, WalMart and mom-and-pop stores.
Meanwhile, several sources mentioned a racial profiling joke ("(In La) I saw two white cops pull over two black cops...") by "New Face" Kenny Johnson as a standout of the evening.
Also Thursday night, Jfl's popular music comedy show Amp'd welcomed a special guest in Judd Apatow, according to attendees. He joined host Craig Robinson for a song bit...
