Jennifer Cetrone
- Actress
- Producer
- Writer
Born and raised in New York, Jennifer relocated to Orlando, Florida at the age of 13; where she began working professionally in SAG-AFTRA television and commercials. At the age of 16, she garnered her first Actors' Equity contract on the stage (which developed into a life-long love). Concurrently, she also began her career as a teaching artist (thanks to one Mr. Tim Hanes) at what is now known as The Orlando Repertory Theatre.
An abusive upbringing required Jennifer to begin supporting herself while still in high school, and necessity propelled her to turn down a substantial scholarship to NYU's performing arts program. Instead, Cetrone toured the country working steadily in regional theatre for 5 years. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Jennifer continued to book television and film roles while also performing 2 leading roles in repertory for several years with Tony Plana's acclaimed East LA Classic Theatre. In 2007, she founded her own production company - From The Ground Up Productions. It thrived both domestically and internationally for over a decade. Both the Creative and Corporate Divisions of the company were devoted to producing purposeful and visionary collaborative works that fostered growth, improved communications, and understanding.
Cetrone was cast in a guest-starring role on Season 4 of the episodic series "Yellowstone" (ViacomCBS/Paramount Network). Narrative changes and runtime constraints resulted in her character being cut, and filmed scenes with "Beth" and "Summer" edited out in post-production. An abridged list of Cetrone's critical acclaim (stage and screen) includes the following: "Beautifully played by Jennifer Cetrone." - Variety, "Cetrone especially is emotionally moving." - Backstage, "Cetrone is clearly the best (actor) in the film." - ABC News
In addition to her work as an actress, Cetrone is also an accomplished teaching artist, singer, and voice over artist. A very proud mom to one amazing rescue pup, Jennifer also dedicates a substantial portion of her time to public speaking and mental health advocacy work.
