Maud Bredius

Maud is a Dutch actor of mixed blood, born in Indonesia and raised in The Netherlands. She is known for her authentic, powerful performances both on stage and in front of the camera.
On stage she played a.o.: Lisette in 'On the Razzle', ITA (Tom Stoppard); psychotherapist Charlotte in 'Beyond Therapy', ITA (Christopher Durang) and Björk in 'Pop', Teatro/Theatercompagnie (Marcus Azzini).
In film and on television she worked with a.o.: Hanro Smitsman (Golden Bear, Berlin Film Festival), Ben Sombogaart (Emmy Award), Remy van Heugten (Golden Calf Award, NFF), Mats Logen (Filmfestival Tel Aviv, 3 Awards) and Kylan Ting (winner Soho House Shorts).
Her latest gigs were Sarah in 'Dag & Nacht', guest star, Dutch/Belgian coproduction, 2023, and commercial 'X Project Roche', 2022 - 2025.
Maud received acting training from some of the greats: Improvisation by Keith Johnstone, Voice by Kristin Linklater, Meisner by Terry Knickerbocker (Drama League of New York) and Shakespeare by Tim Carroll (Tony Award). Since the start of Covid she has regularly been taking classes with the BGB Studio, Los Angeles.
