Mehmet Aksu(II)

Mehmet Aksu is a Turkish writer/director. As a filmmaker, he has directed 6 short films in 2024, one of which won an award, and continues to work on film projects regularly. He began his cinema journey in 2021 at Bahçesehir University's Cinema-TV department. He briefly interned at Netflix and worked as the 3rd assistant director on the TV series "Toprak ile Fidan" in 2022. He also worked backstage for the feature film In Algorithm We Trust in 2024. He then continued his education with the "Creative Writing " course offered by IKSV as well as the "Series Writing" course by Netflix. Currently, he works as a freelancer in videography/photography for various companies and his latest project is his short film, "Derin" which he plans to shoot in March 2025, before his graduation.
