Jared's arc began as a Hip-Hop artist in his native Philadelphia. Professionally known as Grand Agent, he recorded and toured throughout Europe and North America much of the early 2000's. While living in Los Angeles he worked as a lyricist for music production libraries and went on be a script analyst, where his interest in film and television developed. Jared created One Last Shot, a TV pilot inspired by his own artistic journey. That production led Jared back east, where he wrote and produced the Off-Broadway play Hustle 'Til It Hurt. He then wrote his first feature-length screenplay, The Opposite Of Art, a dark comedic fantasy dealing with the struggle between art and commerce. His second screenplay, The Ghetto Ain't A Place, set in late 80's Philly, is a musical about the challenge of Hip-Hop's emergence as a recognized musical form told through one young man's push for self-expression. At this writing (Feb 2020), Jared is completing Yes Mam, a screenplay about gender roles, power, and sexual freedom. His film brand which builds on his long career as a rapper is aptly dubbed Script-Hop.
