- Filmmaker Will Moore attended the University of Texas where he played football for the Longhorns and earned Bachelor of Arts degree in History. The son of Costume Supervisor Stanley Moore, Will spent his summers while in college employed by his father working as a costumer.
After graduating Will moved to Los Angeles and pulled grunt duties on a number of studio features as a PA, including Big Momma's House and Dude Where's My Car before landing a job at the Gersh Agency as a literary assistant. Will returned to Austin in 2001 and enrolled in Austin Film Works Production Program. In his second year Will was was selected to write, direct, and edit one of two short thesis films for the class which would later screen at the original Alamo Draft House.
In the 2003 Will produced his first feature, a script he had written called Wesley Cash. In late 2005 he sold the North American rights of Wesley Cash to Vanguard Cinema. He completed his second feature film, Cowboy Smoke, in 2007 which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and would go on to tour the festival circuit.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Tom
