The Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker has added to his growing tattoo collection as he went out to get a new ink dedicated to his baby son Rocky. He gave fans a glimpse of his new addition as he shared a picture from his trip to the tattoo parlour on Snapchat, reports Mirror.co.uk.
The picture showed black ink and tattoo needles on top of a table, as well as a stencil for his latest piece of art.
As per Mirror.co.uk, the small stencil simply had the word ‘Rocky’ written on it, in honour of Travis’ baby boy. Rocky, who Travis shares with his wife Kourtney Kardashian, was born back in November and the family has been living in a blissful baby bubble ever since.

Travis Barker just debuted a new tattoo, with a very personal meaning behind it. On May 21, the Blink-182 drummer took to his Instagram Story to show off his latest ink on his already heavily tatted body. One arm reads "Survivor's" while the next reads "Guilt." The tattoo is seemingly a reference to Travis surviving a September 2008 plane crash that killed four people, including his assistant Chris Baker and security guard Charles Monroe Still, Jr. The only other survivor of the crash was Adam Goldstein, also known as DJ Am, who died less than one year later from an accidental drug overdose. The deadly accident occurred when...

It was hard to tell in the moment just how influential DJ Am was in his all-too-brief lifetime. Sadly, after he was gone, 12 years ago this August from an accidental drug overdose, it became clear that the beats-spinning, business-owning visionary was ahead of his time, a pioneer of the open format, an Edm star before the term "Edm" had gone mainstream, a progenitor of the household-name deejays who have followed in his wake and the first to command a $1 million contract for a Las Vegas club residency. "For music, he was a born tastemaker," DJ Kevin Scott told NiceKicks.com in 2015, collecting sneakers being another of DJ Am's passions. "He set trends and...

10 years after DJ Am's untimely death, Mandy Moore continues to miss her ex-boyfriend daily. It's been a decade to the day since the 36-year-old DJ, née Adam Goldstein, was tragically found dead in his New York apartment, later confirmed the result of an accidental drug overdose. He and Moore briefly dated in 2007 and she flew to where he was hospitalized after he survived a plane crash the following year. On Wednesday, the actress heartbreakingly reflected on the loss, writing on Instagram, "It's been 10 years. There are so many times I still find myself wanting to tell you about something funny or strange or exciting." Moore continued,...

As someone who’s been forced into the all-night-raving world of Edm (Electronic Dance Music) by proxy, I’m no stranger to Steve Aoki. Roommates and friends alike have filled my apartment with stories about the cake-throwing wild-child, coupled with their desires to one day be “caked” themselves (why waste a good cake, if you ask me).
This is how I entered Justin Krook’s Netflix documentary I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, with a frosting-covered caricature of the generational powerhouse and his performance-focused talents. Not his father’s pseudo-abandonment. Not his hardcore, angsty rock beginning. Just a crowd-surfing ball of fun who hits play with the best of them – an admittedly ignorant view on a man with so much more to say.
While growing up in the shadow of super-hero-incarnate Rocky Aoki, many assumed Steve Aoki was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Rocky’s legend...

Crowdfunding for independent film has been around for a while. When a campaign to complete Orson Welles’ last film can’t meet half its goal on Indiegogo, clearly even with major names attached, not every old project is able to engage with an audience. Sheer volume is making it tougher for your rodent documentary or alpaca musical to break out of the pack. And enough filmmakers have now tried and failed at crowdfunding that there’s reason to be scared of the whole thing.
Thankfully, the leaders of the biggest crowdfunding sites know this, and are working to help filmmakers get their movies made. There are clear advantages to hanging onto your equity, especially when it comes time to release your movie.

Travis Barker is a changed man. On tour for California, Blink-182's first album in five years, the drummer is at the best point in his life. "I'm feeling younger and better now than I did when I was 20," the rocker tells People. When the band first broke out in the '90s, "I was probably one of the most unhealthy human beings, from what I ate to what I put in my body," Barker adds. "There have been so many hardships in my life. Now I know how to handle them ... I just feel so blessed." Indeed, at just 40 years old,...

Director Favreau Got Spinning Lessons From DJ Am
Iron Man director Jon Favreau was schooled in the art of mixing music by tragic DJ Adam Goldstein.
Favreau has been dabbling in DJ-ing for years, but it wasn't until he met Goldstein, aka DJ Am, while filming a cameo for Iron Man 2 that he started taking the hobby seriously - after receiving personal lessons from the late club icon himself.
He explains, "I met DJ Am when we were shooting Iron Man 2 and I struck up a nice little friendship with him. He actually taught me a lot. (He) set up my computer. I learned a lot from the guy...
"I love The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. I do mostly the old rap. Like Run-d.M.C... Anything I think is new is not so I just go with what I like."
And Favreau, who directed the new sci-fi action film Cowboys & Aliens, even showed off his talents during a recent after-party at Comic-Con in San Diego, California.
He says, "One of the parties I did slip in and do a guest set. It wasn't the night of the premiere, that would have been too nerve-wracking, but I slipped into a party... and I did a little bit of of DJ-ing... I grew up in Queens (New York) in the '80s so, thanks to computer technology I can actually keep a party going."
DJ Am died from an accidental drug overdose in 2009, shortly after filming wrapped on Iron Man 2.

"Iron Man 2" hits shelves on DVD and Blu-Ray September 28, but we have an exclusive sneak peek at one of the featurettes from the release.
In the video below, "Iron Man 2" director Jon Favreau discusses the scene he filmed with DJ Am (Adam Goldstein), their relationship on the set, and the effect the musician's sudden death last year had on him.
"I didn't know him personally, but I knew his stuff," said Favreau of his first encounter with the popular DJ.
According to Favreau, his time on the set with Goldstein wasn't very conducive to getting the film shot, as he was constantly pestering the DJ for tips and turntable lessons.
"Am was a very genuine, genuine guy," said the filmmaker. "I wasn't the best director that week, because I would always go up to him and be like, 'Show me something! Tell me something!'"

“Iron Man 2″ hits theatres on Friday and it’s chock full of strange cameo appearances.
Oracle’s founder Larry Ellison gets to say a line and some face time. It also looks like he may have put quite a bit of money into “Iron Man 2.” Oracle is the most prominent advertiser on screen. Its logo turns up constantly. It’s worse than when Starbucks plastered its name all over one of the “Austin Powers” movies years ago. Yikes!
There are also appearances by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour and Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly. Your heart kind of sinks when you hear the former, a supposedly “serious” journalist. O’Reilly is just there as a punch line.
Of course, Marvel’s Stan Lee shows up. But the saddest cameo is from DJ Adam Goldstein, who subsequently killed himself with drugs. He looks bright and happy in the film.

Just two months before the death of Adam Goldstein (DJ Am), the hard-working DJ was working on the Iron Man 2 (2010) set alongside Don Cheadle, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke, and Scarlett Johansson. Even though he had a small cameo, he was beloved on set and forever made an impact on the lives of the Iron Man community. As the sequel sets to open on May 7th, many movie goers will notice film maker Jon Favreau has dedicated this film to the fallen star. On August 28, 2009, DJ Am (Adam Goldstein) died of an accidental drug overdose in his New York City apartment. The awful news rocked Hollywood who had grown attached to the famed DJ that spun the hottest parties around the world and dedicated his time to helping the youth stay off drugs. In September 2008, Goldstein survived a deadly plane crash with his friend and collaborator Travis Barker. Following the crash,...

La Times caught up with "Iron Man 2" director Jon Favreau to talk about some cameos that fans can expect to see in the movie. He said that Stan Lee appears in a scene, and so does Bill O'Reilly. But the most important cameo for Favreau is one by the late Adam Goldstein, aka DJ Am, who died of an accidental drug overdose just weeks after shooting his part. "We tried to make it respectful, and for people who know him, they'll get a kick out of it and for people who don't, it will sort of slide by without much notice," said Favreau. Check out a shot of Goldstein from the movie. In the scene, a boozed-up Tony Stark is celebrating his birthday with a wild party at his Malibu oceanfront estate and there, behind the turntables, is Goldstein. Stark, in his superhero armor, is shown dancing to 2Pac's...

Iron Man 2 is apparently going to be jam packed full of celebrities, from Bill O'Reilly to the usual Stan Lee cameo, but one of them will get a lot of attention or fly by unnoticed, depending on your tabloid knowledge. DJ A.M., a.k.a. Adam Goldstein, was famous for his DJ skills, for dating Nicole Richie, and for surviving a brutal plane crash before he died of an accidental drug overdose last summer. He also managed to fit in a cameo in Iron Man 2, playing DJ at one of Tony Stark's ridiculous parties and apparently helping the hero lay down a "phat beat" before, we're guessing, taking out some unexpected bad guy visitors. Talking to The La Times, director Jon Favreau said he struggled over whether to include the cameo, but in the end decided, "People who know him, they'll get a kick out of it...

Paramount Pictures has provided another sneak peek to "Iron Man 2" by releasing a new clip. An exclusive courtesy of MSN, the video sees Tony Stark and Pepper Potts chatting in what looks like a party before Justin Hammer interrupts them to make them aware of the presence of the female reporter, who slept with Tony in the first film.
In other promotional efforts, the studio has unleashed two new posters for the movie. One of which is an IMAX poster and features Iron Man whose shield is seen quite damaged in some chest area. The other poster meanwhile captures villain Whiplash sporting his weapon.
In related news, it has just been reported that DJ Am will make a cameo appearance in the "Iron Man" sequel. The late spinner, also known as Adam Goldstein, filmed the scene two months before his tragic death in August 2009 and will be seen playing...

You haven't seen the last of DJ Am yet. Am (born Adam Goldstein)—who died of a drug overdose last August after surviving a horrific plane crash earlier in late 2008—will be making a cameo appearance in Iron Man 2, which hits theaters on May 7. In the scene, the celebrity DJ spins at billionaire Tony Stark's birthday party at his Malibu mansion, where the industrialist, played by Robert Downey Jr., gets a little tipsy and busts out some moves to Tupac Skakur's "California Love." Later, as the evening progresses and a fight breaks out, Stark turns to the deejay and declares,...

Iron Man 2 is set to swoop into theaters on May 7th and many comic book fans are already drooling with anticipation about Tony Stark's latest adventure and just who, exactly, might make an appearance. One person I wasn't expecting to see in the final cut was Adam Goldstein, better known to fans as DJ Am. The much loved DJ passed away in August last year of an accidental drug overdose. Prior to that, he'd survived a horrific plane crash that left him badly burned.
Director Jon Favreau tells the La Times' Hero Complex blog that Goldstein came on the set during filming and the two hit it off. The director placed the DJ in a party scene at Stark's mansion that apparently leads into one of the title's many action set-pieces. Of all of the celebrity cameos in "Iron Man 2," the appearance by Adam Goldstein (aka DJ. A.M.) has a particular resonance for director Jon Favreau, due to Goldstein's sudden demise last summer.
"I was just a fan of his, just an admirer of his work, and it was supposed to be a one-day bit," Favreau told The Los Angeles Times. "But Robert [Downey Jr.] took a real shine to him, as we all did. His energy was amazing, he was such a inspiring guy and there was a lot of depth to him and this positive energy.
"He ended up staying on with us for about a week and it was just great," continued Favreau. "We set up this turntable and between takes he would give me pointers."

When Iron Man 2 premieres in May, prepare yourself for a post-mortem celebrity cameo. Adam Goldstein, a.k.a. DJ A.M., who passed away last August, filmed a scene for the movie, but after he died director Jon Favreau had to make a decision whether or not to keep his role in the movie. Favreau opted to leave it in, and to dedicate the film to the DJ.
Favreau explained “We tried to make it respectful and for people who know him, they’ll get a kick out of it and for people who don’t it will sort of slide by without much notice.” One of the film’s co-stars, Don Cheadle said “It was just really sad for everyone and it made it strange, too. The owners of the plane which crashed and seriously injured Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein aka DJ Am have filed suit against the aircraft's manufacturers. Goldstein, who died of a drug overdose a year after the 2008 accident, and Barker both suffered burns, while four others were killed in the horrific crash in South Carolina.
The companies which owned and operated the jet, Global Exec Aviation and Itas Inc., were among the firms which reached financial settlements with the survivors and families who lost loved ones. Now executives at the two organisations have filed their own lawsuit against the plane's manufacturers - Learjet and Bombardier.
The suit claims the private jet had "unreasonably dangerous defects" which allegedly caused the crash, and is seeking reimbursement of the victims' settlements. The lawsuit also demands more than $1 million in additional damages, according to TMZ.

Travis Barker has paid special tribute to his late pal Adam Goldstein aka DJ Am with a tattoo on his left thigh. The rocker and bandmate Goldstein survived a terrifying plane crash in South Carolina in September 2008, but while the Blink-182 drummer has been able to get on with his life, former drug addict Goldstein suffered a relapse and died from an overdose in August 2009.
Barker has been working on a skin art design tribute to Goldstein for the past few months and he unveiled the finished artwork on his Twitter blog on Thursday, March 4. The tattoo features an angel praying beneath the words 'In memory of DJ Am'.
On another news, Travis Barker reveals his plan for solo album and hopes to release it in June. He told MTV, "There's some stuff on my record that's not going to have a bunch of guitars, that are just straight-up hip hop records.

Estate had added wrongful death claim after Am died of overdose in August.

The estate of the late DJ Am (born Adam Goldstein) has settled a $20 million lawsuit filed over the deadly 2008 plane crash that left the celebrity DJ with serious injuries. According to TMZ, the lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed amount and all terms of the deal are confidential.
Am, who died of an accidental drug overdose in August, had filed suit over the crash, which also injured friend Travis Barker of Blink-182 and killed four others, including the pilot and co-pilot. Am's mother amended the lawsuit in November, adding a wrongful death claim that presumably argued that the injuries the DJ sustained in the crash of the private Learjet had left the former drug addict in so much pain that he had sought relief through various drugs.

The estate of DJ Am has settled its lawsuit against the companies that it believed had a role in the September 2008 plane crash that left him seriously injured.
The late disc jockey - real name Adam Goldstein - originally sued various defendants, including LearJet, Goodyear Tire, and Clay Lacy Aviation for negligence, but after the 36-year-old passed away in August 2009, his estate sued them for wrongful death.
The estate claimed that Goldstein never fully recovered from the accident, and the pain he suffered caused him to become addicted again to drugs, ultimately causing his death.
