Stephen Amell is playing a Queen. Oliver Queen, to be precise, in the new CW action series Arrow. And while initial jokes about the character’s name may be juvenile, viewers will see in the pilot episode that this is not a kid’s comic book series. (Be warned, the Queen jokes are going to be coming much too easily.)
Based on the popular DC Comics character, Amell plays a billionaire playboy who had been written off as dead but returns very much alive with not only a jaw-dropping torso but with mystery shrouding what happened on the island where he had been living for five years. What we do know is that instead of all-night clubbing and partying he once indulged in, Queen is now focused on fighting crime (some possibly within his own family) and, bow and arrow in hand, dons a costume to become Arrow.

A couple find a Db in a fountain. Alexis (Molly Quinn) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) help Martha (Susan Sullivan) rehearse for a part in a play. Alexis comments Martha would leave them if she landed the lead and went on tour. Martha says Alexis would be sad but Castle would be happy. Castle leaves when he gets a call, "death, murder mayhem" is almost becoming his catchphrase. Alexis wants him to take her with him but he tells her to find her own "space to hide." Ryan (Seamus Dever) can't find the Db's shoes and her purse is missing. Lanie (Tamala Jones) finds she was stabbed in the back. Castle posits she was a model, underweight, etc. She was a model for New York fashion week and she'd been to a club. Castle saying they descend here like locusts, only "locusts eat." She was modelling for Teddy Farrow (Julian sands) and her dress is missing.

What's Jon Fleming, of the deliciously gory slasher opus Camp Slaughter (aka Camp Haze) and the recently released Frat House Massacre, all about? ....Well in his own words - Sex, drugs and rock and roll. Ever since starring in Camp Slaughter, Jon Fleming has either surprised, shocked or titillated horror fans either playing the type of killers that audiences love to hate, a love interest in the cult favorite Dante's Cove or using his sex appeal to provoke a response. Jon Fleming is certainly one actor that can't be labeled as boring. We here at Big Daddy Horror Reviews will be keeping an eye out to see what bold movie Mr. Fleming will be making next. In the meantime, check out what Jon Fleming had to say when we picked apart his brain with this interview.
So who is Jon Fleming and what are you all about?
Sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

Frat House Massacre Synapse Entertainment is getting set to unleash director Alex Pucci's (Camp Slaughter) latest horror film effort onto an unsuspecting movie public. Filled with all sorts of sordid situations including tasteless nudity & sexual situations, brutal hazings, disco dancing and, for good measure, a few thoughtful moments of character development, Frat House Massacre stood out as one of the ten best horror films of 2000 -2009. And now it is finally coming to DVD in its Uncut version!
During its theatrical and festival run, Frat House Massacre was presented in both 95 minute and 116 minute versions. Frat House Massacre will be arriving to DVD in the latter version (116 mins.) on August 9th. Special features include:
• Audio commentary by Pucci
• Audio commentary by the crew
• Making-of featurette
• Deleted scenes
The two male leads of Frat House Massacre are both veterans of campy horror themselves. Rane Jameson starred in Skullheads for Full Moon Entertainment.

A couple dump a hooded man in an alley, who turns out to be Mac (Gary Sinise). That didn't come as a shock but more of a surprise. Since if it had been someone else, they most probably wouldn't have been dumped alive. He was tasered in the neck and they threaten to shoot him next time. Should've recognized his striped shirt! He calls on the emergency phone and asks for Jo (Sela Ward) at the New York crime lab. 48 hours earlier. A Db of a woman in an alley is found, Flack (Eddie Cahill) says by uniforms. Jo thinks she died from an overdose. Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) finds traces of heroine and candy wrappers on the ground beside her. Lindsay (Anna Belknap) doesn't find any prints on the syringe, most likely wiped down. Mac knows her and IDs her as Tessa James (Kate Towne). Jo questions Mac, "...enough of this quiet man crap.

Frat House Massacre Rane Jameson is a young up and coming actor born on November 7th which makes him a Scorpio. Scorpio's are always the quiet, mysterious ones that have a slick facade in which their hiding some ulterior motive or got something going on inside their head. So it's no wonder that he has a quiet, brooding intensity about him on screen. Even when his character is quiet and doesn't have much to say, you can see there is something going on inside his head and you just want to pick apart his brain to figure out what secrets he is hiding. It's no wonder that Rane Jameson was able to hold his own against Jon Fleming in Frat House Massacre. With Frat House Massacre, Jon Fleming had the flashy role, the stand out role. What was surprising, was to see someone so new like Rane Jameson be able...

As a sidebar before we jump into today’s topic, I want to keep my promise that this blog won’t just be about politics, or even gay horror. Sometimes it will just be about hot guys. Case in point: Todd Farmer, screenwriter of Jason X (with my favorite in the series after the original) and My Bloody Valentine 3D (with Zane Smith), which I saw on opening weekend and absolutely loved.
I (briefly) interviewed Farmer for a project called “Expanded Books” (formerly “Book Look”) when my friend Peter Bracke’s Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History Of Friday The 13th had its release party. At the time I thought, “Uh…he cute.”
Cut To: My Bloody Valentine 3D. I go see the flick with a gaggle of homos and what are we treated to? Naked Todd Farmer! Ok, more like naked Todd Farmer’s ass, but still! As much...

• Screamkings Productions has announced that its new shocker Frat House Massacre (pictured) will have its first U.S. screening next Wednesday, February 4. It’ll be showing at New York City’s Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue) as part of the NewFilmmakers New York series.
The movie begins at 8 p.m., and director Alex Pucci and cast members Jon Fleming, Niki Notarile and Rane Jameson will attend and hold a Q&A.
