Isa Rae Bernal-Steiner is the daughter of a costume designer and producer. She is of Mexican-American heritage and comes from a multi-generational creative family. From a young age, Isa embraced the arts, singing with her grandmother and cousins, and drawing with her mother, grandfather, and uncles.
Isa began performing in theater at the age of 7 and has taken on lead roles for over six years. She honed her skills in voice, dance, improv, and music, impressing audiences with her stage presence and vocal abilities by the time she was 9. She has performed songs by artists like Michael Jackson, Kate Bush, and Pat Benatar at renowned Los Angeles venues such as The Troubadour, The Viper Room, and Venice West with her School of Rock band-mates.
An aspiring comedian with a love for comedy, Isa has been writing, directing, and editing her own short comedy sketches and music videos since age 9. After being inspired by "Stranger Things" and starring in an Amazon "back to school" commercial, she decided to pursue film and TV. In 2024, Isa booked her first film, a lead role in "Tiny Fugitives," directed by Michael Lewen and produced by Seth Rogen.
