Biography

Lienke Vermeulen is an 18-year-old upcoming actress who just graduated from High School Durbanville. She grew up in Cape Town and has always been the performer and drama queen in the family. She is passionate about all forms of art and excelled in subjects like Dramatic Arts, Visual Arts and Music. She landed her first role in KykNet's Projek Dina S2 as "Hannah" in 2021. That experience confirmed that being an actress is all she ever wants to be. She also played "Abigail" in the hit KykNet series Eenkeer om die Son in the beginning of 2024. Her role in the Showmax series Spooksoeker as "Essie" has been her biggest role yet, and she thoroughly enjoyed this character. She hopes that the complexity of this character and the experience she gained will open doors for her next, even bigger role. Her plans for next year are to improve her skills as an actress with various courses and also to pursue a career in modeling.
