We knew that a second season had been green-lit, and we can now officially confirm that filming has officially been completed and that the post-production phase is officially beginning, which means that we are going to see the second relatively soon; a release date has not been confirmed, but we can expect it to be released in 2025.

A couple of months ago, it was announced that Richard de Klerk (A Teenage Prophet), Patty Guggenheim (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), and Tiana Okoye (Mrs. Davis) had joined the cast in unspecified recurring guest roles. Now Deadline reveals that Saylor Bell Curda of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series; Michael James Shaw, who was seen wearing the pumpkin-colored amor of the character Mercer in the final season of The Walking Dead; and Lisa Gilroy of Interior Chinatown have also joined the cast, playing unspecified recurring roles.

Exclusive: With production on Peacock’s Twisted Metal Season 2 currently underway, the series has added Saylor Bell Curda (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Michael James Shaw (The Walking Dead) and Lisa Gilroy (Interior Chinatown) in recurring roles.

They join leads Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz, shown on set in new images below. Additional cast for the new season includes returning stars Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett, and newly added Anthony Carrigan, Richard de Klerk, Patty Guggenheim and Tiana Okoye.

Anthony Carrigan is joining the cast of Peacock’s “Twisted Metal” as a Season 2 regular.

He will play Calypso, a character from the “Twisted Metal” video games who is described as “the mysterious, charismatic host and creator of a dangerous demolition derby tournament, who invites all assassins, vigilantes, mercenaries and joyriders to participate. Wardlow whipped Samoa Joe hard into the ringside barricade. Wardlow rammed Joe into the steel ring steps. Back in the ring, Samoa Joe chopped Wardlow, but Wardlow planted Samoa Joe with a spinebuster. Samoa Joe tested the chin of Wardlow, jabbing away at the challenger. Samoa Joe chopped at Wardlow. All Elite Wrestling has been gaining new momentum following the stellar Revolution pay-per-view. The event saw Sting’s in-ring farewell coupled with a card of other standout matches. The company also landed top free agents in recent months including Adam Copeland, Will Ospreay, and Kazuchika Okada. Another new face has been teased on the way as soon as Wednesday’s Aew Big Business edition of Dynamite from Boston. A PPV quality card headlined by Samoa Joe defending the Aew championship against Wardlow. Given the setting and timing, fans are anticipating the debut of Mercedes Mone. Despite all the excitement, Tony Khan still feels the challenges of running a large pro wrestling company. The head has been forced to weather his fair share of storms in terms of talent exits, managing a roster of strong personalities, and growing Aew’s audience. Through it all, the young owner maintains his trademark positivity.

Twisted Metal Season 2 will pick up the story of Anthony Mackie’s John Doe, where the character’s self-claimed sister, Dollface, is likely to join the post-apocalyptic madness.

Season 1 ended with John Doe finally reaching the New San Francisco, where he’s bored with his life now, and Stephanie Beatriz’s Quite is out there stealing deliveries from milkmen.

While we wait for the second season of Peacock’s highly entertaining video game adaptation “Twisted Metal” – it’s coming soon! – we’ve learned this week that Trick or Treat Studios will be adding “Twisted Metal” to their long list of licenses this coming Halloween.

The company opened up their virtual catalogue this afternoon and inside the pages we spotted a replica Sweet Tooth mask and machete that are both based on the Peacock TV series.

Sweet Tooth’s mask and machete will release in time for Halloween 2024.

The character, an icon from the video game franchise, is played by pro wrestler Samoa Joe in Peacock’s “Twisted Metal” series, while Will Arnett provides the voice of Sweet Tooth.

With Peacock’s Twisted Metal adaptation getting the green light for a second season, showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith and team dropped a few tidbits during an interview with NBC Insider on what to expect for season 2. That includes not only the focus on the tournament itself, but also the appearance of several more fan favorites from the video game series.

“I’m really excited,” says Smith. “We have an amazing team of writers and we’re discussing the arc of the season and what the first episode might be, looking at the big picture.” Among the characters the team is looking to introduce in the show, tournament organizer Calypso will finally be making an appearance, along with Dollface (who in Peacock’s adaptation is John Doe’s long-lost sister), Mr. Grimm, and perhaps the most challenging for the showrunners, Axel.

In the new version, two lonely strangers land jobs working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, and world travel. The catch? New identities in an arranged marriage as John and Jane Smith. The newly married pair will navigate a high-risk mission every week while also facing new relationship milestones and avoiding the complications of catching real feelings for each other.

Twisted Metal will continue to ride on. Peacock has renewed the action-comedy series, based on the video game franchise of the same name, for a second season. Season one of the series arrived in July, becoming one of the top three originals released on Peacock.

Peacock’s action comedy Twisted Metal has been renewed for season two, with series star and executive producer Anthony Mackie announcing the pickup during The Games Awards on December 7, 2023. Season one of the video game-inspired series debuted on July 27th and is one of the streaming service’s top three original shows in viewership.

When the TV series based on the popular video game franchise Twisted Metal made its premiere on the Peacock streaming service back in July, it quickly became one of Peacock’s top five original series, racking up 400 million viewing minutes in its first weekend and earning the honor of being the streamer’s “most-binged” premiere. So it’s no surprise to hear the show has been renewed, with Peacock ordering season 2. Those of you hoping for a second season of Peacock’s Twisted Metal series have gotten your wish. Prior to presenting an award at The Game Awards 2023, Twisted Metal star Anthony Mackie revealed that the series has been renewed for another season.

This news comes after Peacock announced that the series had done record viewership for an exclusive comedy series earlier this year.

Peacock has renewed its action-comedy series Twisted Metal — and no, we’re not clowning around.

Series star and executive producer Anthony Mackie revealed the news Thursday night during The Game Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Twisted Metal is nominated for Best Adaptation.

The half-hour live-action TV series based on the classic PlayStation game series is described as a high-octane action comedy, based on an original take by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and written by Michael Jonathan Smith.

Season 1 follows a motor-mouthed outsider (Mackie) offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief (Stephanie Beatriz), he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.

After the continual delays of Rocksteady’s upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, it looks as though WB Games are going to stick to that February 2, 2024 release, judging from the new “Suicide Squad Insider” video. In addition, pre-orders are now available for the title, in Standard and Deluxe Editions.

In the video, Rocksteady dives into the game’s core gameplay mechanics including “a seamless fusion of traversal and combat”, narrative elements, a look at open-world Metropolis, and more. The episode also features appearances by actors Tara Strong (voice of Harley Quinn), Scott Porter (voice of The Flash), and Samoa Joe (voice of King Shark), who offer thoughts on their respective characters and the game’s storyline.

Jay White grappled Fox to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Fox came back with a cutter. Fox followed up with a swift kick to Jay White, knocking White out of the ring. Fox nailed Jay White with a shooting star press, posting off the turnbuckles and landing on White on the arena floor. Back in the ring, Jay White threw Fox into the turnbuckles with a half and half suplex. Jay White spiked Ar Fox with a Ddt.

Adam Cole is no stranger to injury, but the Aew wrestler says his latest one — a broken ankle — is the most difficult to deal with to date. On Tuesday, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to update fans on his current situation.

“Emotionally, this has been the most challenging injury of my career. Without question,” Cole wrote. “Thank you to Everyone who has reached out & shown support. Means more than you know.”
