Mumbai, Sep 6 (Ians) Acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi says, be it son or daughter, parents should allow their children to be independent.

"Centuries of conditioning and gender blocks can be defeated only if we consciously create a neutral environment at home. Be it for your son or daughter, I often tell parents to allow their children to be independent," said Tripathi.

He added that if parents instill confidence in children to be their own decision makers, they will be responsible.

"They should take charge of their lives and even as we are available to guide them at every step, we shouldn't overshadow their life with the baggage of our lived experiences and opinions. If we instill the confidence in children to be their own decision makers, they'll be far more responsible," she said.

Sachin Gupta released the music of his forthcoming film Paranthe Wali Gali in Mumbai in the presence of Vasundhara Das, Anuj Saxena, Neha, Prabhakar Srinet, Joi Barua and the students of Nm College. Students cheered Vasundhara & Joi Barua when they rendered two songs live for them. “I have been able to give this kind of music because after narrating the story Sachin gave me complete independence,” says Vasundhra who is making her debut as a music director with Paranthe Wali Gali.

Music Director of Paranthe Wali Gali is Vasundhara Das, while two songs are done by Vikram Khajuria. Singers are Kk, Joi Barua, Siddharth Basrur, Jasraj Joshi, Tejas Shankar and Vasundhara Das. “She has given music that is complimenting the story and characters of the film. What made you take on this film knowing that it was Sachin’s debut as director?...

New Delhi, Feb 10: Actor Anuj Saxena quit TV at a time when he was touted as one of the brightest stars on the small screen. Giving the reason for his departure, he said he had played the role for so long that he lost count of his on-screen girlfriends, wives and daughters.

After playing business man Abhay Kapoor in TV soap "Kkusum ... Ek Aam Ladki Ki Kahani" for two years, he had had enough of it and decided to focus on his company Elder Health Care, which produces Fmcg products.

"I was saturated with television. So many years of playing Abhay Kapoor! I had so many wives, girlfriends, and daughters that I lost count in the end..

New Delhi, Feb 8: Debutant director Sachin Gupta will shoot "Paranthe Wali Gali" in busy alleys of the walled city to get the right flavour and says his film will capture rich architecture of the city and that he is ready for the challenges.

"Paranthe Wali Gali", a romantic drama, revolves around a serious guy (Anuj Saxena) and what happens to him when he meets an outspoken Sikh girl essayed by Neha Pawar.

"We are trying to capture the rich architecture of old Delhi by shooting on real location. I think visually Delhi is very rich and we are trying to capture that aspect in the film," Gupta, who will start filming here from.

Mumbai, July 29: Nausheen Sardar Ali and Anuj Saxena, who became popular after playing a couple in the 2001 TV soap "Kkusum", team up again to host "Crimes of Passion", a show about crime against women.

"It is based on crime against women and it's a daily show. It will come from Monday to Thursday at the prime time 9.00 pm slot. The 99 percent of the stories will be based on real.

Mumbai: Mohnish Behl, veteran actor, who played Dr. Ashutosh in the popular daily soap ‘Kuch toh log kahenge’ has reportedly been replaced by the sultry Sharad Kelkar (of ‘Saat Phere’ fame).

There were rumours earlier in the industry that Anuj Saxena and even Cezanne Khan, both T.V. actors, were approached for the role but things did not work out and Sharad ended up bagging it.

Sharad was unsure earlier about replacing Mohnish Behl, who opted out due to health reasons, but later took it up as a challenge. He even attended a workshop for 2 days with the cast team prior to joining them. He became a household name through his role in TV serial 'Kkusum', but Anuj Saxena, who made his Bollywood debut with 'Chase', is not keen on television as he wants to focus on movies and his other businesses.

'Acting is my passion. I have no plans of giving it up. But for television I don't have time, although I'm getting good offers. But if I take that up, then I don't know who will take care of my multiple businesses,' Anuj told Ians.

The actor, who is also the managing director of Elder Healthcare, will start planning his next acting venture soon. At the moment he is busy with the post-production of his forthcoming.

New Delhi, Nov 3 – Chirag Paswan, son of politician Ram Vilas Paswan, celebrated his birthday with co-star Kangana Ranaut on the sets of his debut movie ‘One And Only’.

‘Chirag’s birthday was celebrated on the sets. Kangana has started shooting for the film and it is shaping out well,’ producer Anuj Saxena said in a press statement.

Made under Saxena’s Maverick productions, it is being directed by Tanveer Khan and also stars Sagarika Ghatge, Neeru Bajwa, Poonam Dhillon, Vinod Khanna and Dalip Tahil.

The sizzling number was shot for “One & Only”, which is the debut vehicle of Chirag, son of politician Ram Vilas Paswan.

“The item song is set in a Basti. It has been shot in a village set up in Kamalistan studios in Mumbai.
