Born in Atlantic City, raised on the New Jersey shore, and educated at the Universities of Notre Dame and Cambridge, Bruce began his career as an editor at a world-renowned political ad agency in Malibu and moved on to edit music videos, series TV, and feature films.
He serves as a board member of the Ojai Film Festival, where he is responsible for the Gold Coast screening series, focused on locally-sourced films from the Ojai community. Bruce also oversees the festival's screenplay competition, a task that's a good fit for a practicing screenwriter and published novelist.
Now in the works is a move toward directing; he's prepping a short film from a script he's written, to be shot in the summer of 2023 in New Jersey.
