Ryan has over 15 years experience directing and producing for TV networks including Animal Planet, PBS, Nat Geo, A&E, TLC, Discovery, HGTV, and History.
From blue-chip natural history, to unscripted docu-series, to crime, his experience runs the gamut of non-fiction. In his career, Ryan has managed each and every aspect of content production from field directing and shooting to writing and editing.
Select producing credits include 'Kilauea: Mountain of Fire' for PBS's Emmy-winning blue-chip natural history series 'Nature', Discovery's 'Killer Whales', HGTV's 'Sold on the Spot', National Geographic's 'Doomsday Castle', Animal Planet's 'Rattlesnake Republic' (Supervising Producer), and A&E's 'Jacked: Auto Theft Task Force'.
Other credits include CBS's 'The Great American Baking Show' - a spin off of of the British hit 'The Great British Bake Off', Animal Planet's hit series 'North Woods Law' and 'Lone Star Law', and Discovery ID's 'True Conviction'.
Ryan is a graduate of NYU's Tisch Institute of Film and Television.
