Doug Wilder is a film maker from the Washington, DC area. He is the education director of the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts (2010 - 2018), and the founder/Director of Crash of Rhinos Productions (2013), a film and theater collective in Washington, DC.

Doug graduated from The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in 2005 and went into a life on the stage. In 13 years in the Washington, DC area, Doug performed in and directed a combined total of 163 plays and musicals, including several original works. Doug has been nominated for three Helen Hayes awards for excellence in acting for the stage, winning the 2014 Helen Hayes award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work in 'One Man Two Guv'nors.

Doug began transitioning to a life in the film industry in 2011, and has now directed and/or written over 30 short films. Like many aspiring filmmakers, Doug got his start in the local 48 Hour Film Project, which he won in 2014 and 2016. He has won several smaller film festivals in the United States, including the Grove Film Festival for his short film 'The Situation Room' (2016), and the Christian Film Festival in Newport News for his short film 'St. Miranda' (2017).
