Just know that this is the type of story that reaches beyond the battered content we see pumped out on a regular basis. Its not a seamless tale but theres heart here and that drives the machine into respectable territory. Youll find plenty of faults in the feature but if you approach it with an open mind you just might catch a glimpse of the grandiose tale that Hish and screenwriters Ian Ascher and Chris W. Freeman (Hish has a hand in the writing process as well) aimed to tell.

Sorority Party Massacre – a horror move that plays out exactly as advertised. There’s a sorority, some type of party, and obviously a massacre – real brain tickler, right? Writer/Director Chris W. Freeman lays his hand of Playboy playing cards in full view, introducing a cast of young vixens bouncing off any provocative stereotype imaginable. This isn’t just B-Movie horror, this is career starting, “take the first gig I can get” type horror that’s minimal chills and maximum, um, playfulness? Yeah, that’s the best way to put it. Does this massacre feature cameos by Kevin Sorbo and Ron Jeremy? Of course. Is there random, bare-chested nudity for the hell of it? You betcha’! Are sorority sisters imagined as murderous bimbos exploited for sexuality? Thank God. It’s 3Am and you’re looking for some typical late-night silliness to watch – is Sorority Party Massacre right for you? ‘Tis a fair question.

What genre attracts filmmakers when they don’t have enough money or the necessary writing and/or acting talent to make a solid film? Horror. Yes, there are good horror movies out there, but there’s also a direct-to-dvd horror business that has exploded with mediocrity as home video camera technology has advanced and decent video editing software can be found cheap. That’s how we get movies like Sorority Party Massacre, where the writer/director Chris W. Freeman hopes to reel in viewers with the promise of sexuality only to disappoint them with nothing of the sort along with horrible editing, acting, writing, and cinematography. This is the kind of release that makes you wonder what distributor was so desperate for titles that they picked up a piece of garbage like this and tried to sell it for money when it doesn’t even deserve to be seen for free on YouTube.

The infamous Odenbrook Sanitarium closed after a mass suicide occurred within its walls. Sixty years later, six college students armed with cameras and recording equipment venture into the asylum to prove the existence of the paranormal. Thrills turn into nightmares as members of the group go missing without a sound, cell phones mysteriously vanish, corridors turn into mazes, walls appear where doors once stood, flashlights fail and something or someone begins toying with the group. Days later, when five of the six friends turn up missing, the lone survivor must go through the recovered footage in order to clear his name and find out what happened to his friends.

Sorority girls are always getting themselves in trouble, in film at least. Their latest misadventures include a weekend trip to get away from it all and they run right into the hands of a "brilliant serial killer." They will have to put away the beer and bikinis and pick up a tire iron as The Sorority Party Massacre completes production later this year.

Casting has begun on Two Wolves , a new horror production revving up in Los Angeles. Written by Chris Freeman, the film follows a tragically disfigured guide-dog trainer living at a secluded school for the blind who becomes the prime suspect in a string of violent murders.
