Andrew Lewis Von Main III

Andrew Lewis Von Main III was born in Newport Beach in December of
1990. His father is real estate mogul and local skateboarding legend
Andy Von Main Jr. Andrew began his film career by videotaping his
father and other Orange County skateboarders at local skateparks. In
early 2003, he released his first skateboarding video compilation,
"T.E.N. Speed". The compilation was a mild success in the underground
skating scene, and managed to catch the eye of Hoyt, Brokaw, and
Schlachtenhaufen who approached him to shoot their audition tape.
Main's intense and sometimes volitile approach to the directing process
gave the project its distinct edge.
