Andrey Koulev was born in Sofia in
1973. He graduated in Film and TV
Directing at NationalAcademyof Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria. Works in the fields of
graphic design, caricature and illustration.
He directed the animation films Reflection,
Poet and Pegasus 1, Poet and Pegasus 2,
Poet and Pegasus 3, The Cuckoo. In 1997
he was among the winners in the MTV
Minute Cinema Competition with Full
Moon.
