He won a million-pound recording contract from British talent search show The X Factor UK (2004) in December 2004. He had a UK number one single in 2005 with a cover of Phil Collins' classic 1984 song "Against All Odds". However, he failed to repeat the success with further hits and soon faded into obscurity.
