Ava Montgomery(I)
- Actress
Ava Montgomery grew up in the heart of Munich, Germany, next to the famous Oktoberfest. Being a rather shy child, she was sent to acting class by her father (Oscar-winning filmmaker Tyron Montgomery) at the age of six, to improve her self-confidence. A career as an actress was never intended.
During acting classes, Ava was discovered by Jelka Niebling, managing director of the casting agency Talent-Scout (Munich/Berlin). Jelka was convinced of her acting talent and persuaded Ava's parents to let Ava join the agency.
In 2012, Ava Montgomery made her debut in the successful German TV-series "Der Bergdoktor", in a rather sad role: She played young Lea whose mother, after suffering throughout the episode, eventually deceases in hospital while her daughter is sitting by her bed.
In 2015, because of her initial performance in "Der Bergdoktor", Ava was invited to England to play in the TV feature film "Totally Unexpected", based on Rosamunde Pilcher's short story "The Light".
