The Frog K-drama: Cast, Plot, Trailer
Image
When a mysterious visitor shows up at a vacation rental, a peaceful summer turns into a waking nightmare. The suspense thriller The Frog follows two men at the mercy of a ruthless killer — or killers — and an ace detective’s pursuit of justice. Starring Kim Yun-seok, Yoon Kye-sang, and Go Min-si, the South Korean series was created by Baeksang Arts Award–winning director Mo Wan-il (The World of the Married) and writer Son Ho-young.

The series portrays people whose fates change in an instant, despite the fact that the characters are near strangers to the murder victims.

“Many things happen and many emotions come and go, but we strongly feel and remember a certain incident at a certain time,” Mo told Netflix. “The Frog is about that moment, that emotion.”

The Frog's Ending Explained: What Happened To Go Min-si's Seong-a?
Image
Jae-sik killed Seong-a to avenge his son's death. Seong-a killed her stepson in the first episode for virtually no reason. Detective Bo-min chose not to arrest Gi-ho despite knowing what he did at the hospital.

The Frog ends with Jeon Young-ha finding some comfort after having struggled for over a year with his decision of not reporting Seong-a to the police, with the finale also wrapping up the Lake View storyline in the present day. One of the most anticipated Netflix K-dramas of 2024, The Frogs cast includes Go Min-si, Kim Yoon-seok, Yoon Kye-sang, and more. It tells two separate stories of incidents at local motels that continued to affect those involved years later, with these two stories eventually converging at the end. Detective Bo-min, the Hunter, ended up solving both cases.

Sweet Home star Go Min-si played Seong-a, a mysterious woman who was later revealed to be a psychopath who...

‘The Frog’ K-Drama Cast And Character Guide
Image
The Frog is Netflix’s gripping new K-drama that combines two chilling stories set in different eras—both centered around mysterious motels and brutal murders. In 2001, we met Koo Sang-jun, the owner of an ordinary countryside spot called The Lake View Motel. This humble motel becomes the scene of a gruesome crime that changes Sang-jun’s life forever. Fast forward to the present day, and we encounter Yeong-ha, the owner of a vacation home by the forest where another murder is committed on his property. The crimes shatter each person’s life and business, and they become victims themselves in different ways. So, do they seek revenge against the killers who destroyed their lives?...

Ma Dong-seok in The Roundup (2022)
Teaser Trailer: The Roundup: No Way Out by Lee Sang-yong
Ma Dong-seok in The Roundup (2022)
Monster detective Ma Seok-do is back! After smashing his way through Philippines and the Korean box office, he is back in Korea to smash the living daylights out of the bad guys in “The Roundup” director Lee Sang-yong’s followup to the ninth highest grossing Korean film of all time.

Film Review: The Roundup (2022) by Lee Sang-yong
Image
Without doubt, it was “Train to Busan” in 2016 that brought the human juggernaut that is Ma Dong-seok to international prominence but it wasn’t until one year later that he became the one-man one-punch knockout machine Don Lee that we know and love in director Kang Yoon-seok’s “The Outlaws”. In addition to propelling the beefy actor into leading man superstardom, the feature was also vastly profitable at the box office, sprouting many similar projects that relied on their leading man’s physical abilities. So it was only a matter of time before a sequel was greenlit. Oddly enough, though a sequel was officially announced shortly after the release and success of “The Outlaws”, it took 5 years for eventual sequel “The Roundup” to see release.

To repatriate a culprit from a past case who has confessed to his crimes to the Vietnamese police, Detective Ma Seok-do and his team captain Jeon Il-man head to Vietnam.
