Nic Benns is an EMMY and BAFTA winning film titles designer and director.
Nic has collaborated on theatrical opening sequences with directors such as Guy Ritchie, Richard Curtis, Andy Serkis and Ridley Scott. His aesthetic is cinematic, layered and organic. Film credits include Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, The Gentlemen, Mowgli, Nine, An Education, 30 Days Of Night, Alien Vs Predator and Love Actually.
TV credits include Narcos Mexico, Luther, Bridgerton, Ripper Street, Hannibal, Electric Dreams and Strike Back (for which he was EMMY nominated).
In 2012 he won the Outstanding Main Titles EMMY for Great Expectations. 2013 received an honorary Doctorate of Arts. 2016 won the Best Titles BAFTA with Miki Kato for Fortitude. 2021 won the Best Titles BAFTA for Fear City.
