Singer-songwriter, musician, composer and producer, Pedro Camilo is an
established artist in his home country. He has achieved many successes,
starting from the early age of 11 years old with the teenage pop group
Onda Choc which sold many platinum albums during Pedro's participation
in the group (87/88). In 1997 Pedro Camilo, together with his band
mates Nelson Rosado, Sérgio Rosado and Telmo Miranda hit the charts
with boy band Sétimo Céu. The self titled album, released by Polygram,
included the ballad Foi Só Um Olhar, Pedro's lead song which quickly
climbed up the charts becoming the band's greatest hit. In 1999 Pedro
signed with BMG and released his first solo album, Dono Do Tempo. The
rock ballad Espaço Protegido, considered by some one of the best love
songs ever, became Pedro's love anthem. In 2006 Pedro Camilo released
another album, Stories Of A Recent Past from which 3 singles were
extracted, Só De Nós Dois which became main character's song for Doce
Fugitiva TV series, Dás-me O Mundo also included in the soundtrack
album for Fala-me De Amor TV series and Dá-me Uma Razão, also included
in Morangos Com Açúcar IV TV series soundtrack album. Besides his solo
work Pedro Camilo has also produced albums and singles for other
artists, advertising campaigns and sports events and his music has been
widely used in TV Series and TV and radio commercials. Pedro has also
participated in a few TV series either as special guest star or guest
character.
