David Meyer grew up in Manhattan, New York, where he attended The Town School, The High School of Music and Art, and the City College of New York, graduating with a BA in English Literature. He has a Master's Degree in Anglo-Irish Literature from University College, Dublin. He spent several years as a producer at ABC News 20/20 before deciding to pursue a career as an independent film maker. He has produced and/or directed many independent documentary features, as well as programs for National Geographic Television, Arts & Entertainment Television, HBO, and others.
