Along with Chen Liang, Ho Ming-Chung, Chin Chi-Chu, Chen Ching-Chen and
Nankung Hsun, Korean expatriate Lin Chih-Yung belonged to this small
minority of dedicated Korean actors who entered into studio contracts
with Hong Kong's Shaw Brothers during the late 1960s early 70s.
