- Peter Templeman attended the 2nd annual HatcH audiovisual festival in Bozeman, MT in October 2005 with his film, "Splintered". HatcH focuses on inspiring and mentoring the next generation of artists and filmmakers. Peter was a Groundbreaker, student filmmakers whose films were accepted and who took part in panels and roundtables at the week-long festival.
- Peter is the only filmmaker to win the Slamdance Grand Jury Award for Best Short Film two years in a row. First in 2005 with Splintered, then in 2006 with The Saviour, which was nominated for an Oscar at the 2007 Academy Awards.
