Throughout One Piece, there have been many instances that made fans bawl their eyes out, sometimes out of joy, and other times due to heartbreaks. Speaking of heartbreaks, if Ace’s death isn’t your first thought, then you might need to rewatch the entire series. Eiichiro Oda took us all on a whirlwind of emotions, only to leave us with the most heart-shattering fictional memory.

Many of us are yet to recover from the events of the Marineford War. However, Oda initially had different plans for Ace. Before you smile at the thought of Ace escaping Marineford alive, you should know that the mangaka never planned on keeping him alive. He had a worse fate in mind for the character. So, what were these plans that Oda set aside?

One Piece fans often question which character would’ve successfully defeated everyone in Marineford. Would Shanks getting there much earlier have prevented a lot more deaths? Or would a corrupt figure like Imu cause more destruction while defeating everyone in their path? Now, think outside the box and imagine Satoru Gojo, the beloved overpowered sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen, had shown up in the Marineford Arc of One Piece. It’s purely hypothetical and has so many implications and possibilities but many ridiculous scenarios come up as well.

Why would Gojo be in Marineford in the first place? Does this theory imply that the white-haired sorcerer knows Portgas D. Ace and wants to save him? There’s no real answer as to why he’d be in One Piece in the first place but to be involved in the War of Marineford...

The Cross Guild has become a major player in One Piece as a direct threat to the World Government. Led by the trio of Crocodile, Mihawk, and Buggy, the pirates have introduced a whole new bounty system that now applies to Marines. This means even the World Government and the Marines wouldn’t be safe. The worst criminals would be hunting them down and they’d have to go into hiding. However, there’s one Marine in all of One Piece who deserves to get this bounty on them and it’s Akainu.
The Fleet Admiral of the Marines would’ve obviously gotten the highest bounty from the Cross Guild which now surpasses the likes of Monkey D. Garp, the Hero of the Marines, which fans find hard to believe.

For years now, One Piece fans have believed Shanks has the current highest bounty amongst all the active pirates sailing the Grand Line. His bounty is the colossal amount of 4,048,900,000 berries which was only rivalled by Kaidou and Big Mom’s bounties. Their defeats then currently make Shanks’ bounty the highest known one. However, what if there’s another contender for the highest bounty that hasn’t been revealed in One Piece just yet?

The Marines and World Government have an even bigger threat than just pirates and the Four Emperors on their hands. Monkey D. Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has been going on since 1999, and over the years, the show has flaunted a ton of characters that are depicted to be insanely strong. These characters have left a lasting impression on the minds of the viewers.

Though some are feeble, others have showcased how they can be walking catastrophes, retaining the most potent Devil Fruits, and utilizing their abilities to the max. While there are many personalities who have showcased the optimal use of their Devil Fruit and physical abilities, only two names remain on top: Kaido and Whitebeard.
As a result, fans have often engaged in discussions where they wonder who’s the fastest. However, they need not worry as Oda-Sensei has given them enough proof in the series, which is convincing enough for the community to come to a reasonable decision...

The recent release of the spoilers of One Piece chapter 1132 has made some interesting revelations regarding the island of Elbaph and the Giant Warrior Pirates. The spoilers reveal that before joining the rest of his crewmates, Luffy was in a conversation with Loki, who asked him to keep their interaction a secret. Not only that, he even asked Luffy to not tell anyone about the promise they had. While this sounds confusing, the shocking aspect about this is that Luffy actually tried to hide and lie about his meeting with Loki.
This means that his promise most likely involves him freeing Loki, which is not a good idea. If Luffy actually manages to do that,...

Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece is in its final saga, and the series has been making waves around the internet. The series is finally unraveling many of the burning questions that have been keeping the fans awake for so many years. One major question that has been constantly lingering around the minds of the fans is the Devil Fruit awakenings, which is one of the greatest sources of strength.

However, after Luffy vs. Lucci, no other users have showcased any signs of an awakening. Well, it might just be a matter of time because Oda-Sensei might be planning something huge that will unleash pandemonium by giving all the Logia users their much-awaited awakenings. Thus, indicating the final war between the Pirates and The World Government.
This theory was also answered by one of the fans, who believes that the mangaka is planning to break the internet again.

Although the One Piece narrative has entered its final saga, the protagonist group, the Straw Hat Pirates, is still short of one crew member who has been much awaited by the fans. While the series saw Jinbe being the latest member to join Luffy and his crew, according to the narrative, they still need one more crewmate to make them complete.

For the longest time, Eiichiro Oda has been dropping hints about other characters who might join Luffy in his adventure, but none of them has been confirmed yet. From Carrot to Vegapunk, all of these characters have been assumed to be part of the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece, but none of them came close to Yamato, who almost boarded the ship.

One Piece‘s Marineford battle Arc demonstrated peak tragedy as Luffy’s desperate attempt to save his brother Ace ended up in heartbreak, leaving a scar that still shapes his journey. Among the many characters tied to that event, Akainu particularly stands out, and fans have long speculated that Luffy would one day confront Akainu to settle this score.

However, recent developments in One Piece‘s storyline suggest that Eiichiro Oda might have a different plan in mind; one that aligns more closely with the overarching themes of justice and growth. With Garp’s life hanging by a thread, it’s probably the time when Koby ultimately gets the real development. And perhaps, it’s not Luffy, but Koby will be the one to deliver a decisive blow to Akainu.

Eiichiro Oda is a master at creating a diverse range of characters. Luffy, the iconic protagonist of One Piece, is a testament to Eiichiro Oda’s genius. His slow and steady progression since eating the Devil Fruit at the beginning of the series has awed fans.

One of the most important names in Luffy’s list of opponents in One Piece is Navy’s Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, also known as Akainu. Akainu has been responsible for some of the most wicked instances in the series, with Ace’s death being the most horrible of them all. This is why, Luffy hates him to the core and will surely take revenge for his brother’s death.

Akainu’s character is quite complex and while he is portrayed as the villain of One Piece, he actually plays the role of an anti-hero. One speculation that proves this is his alleged friendship with Dragon, which might lead him to betray the World Government. He is not entirely evil in his need to follow justice, but the ways that he implemented in doing so have made him one of the biggest antagonists in One Piece.

Ever since the time skip in One Piece, the Navy has seen a significant change in the power system as two of the three formal Navy Admirals have vacated their positions. While Akainu has been promoted to become the Fleet Admiral, Kuzan left the Navy to join the Blackbeard Pirates as their tenth Titanic Captain. Thus, the Navy had to replace them.

Fujitora made his first appearance during the Dressrosa arc, and he left quite an impression on One Piece fans. However, Rykogyu’s track record has not been so good since his official appearance in One Piece, as the Admiral has faced a massive defeat even after being one of the strongest characters in the Navy.

The Shonen genre is targeted toward impressionable young boys; thus, most Shonen series take the high ground and avoid letting the protagonist kill anyone. Outright murders are rarely portrayed, and series like Naruto and One Piece are prime examples.
Naruto and Luffy are powerful characters but their intention is never to kill anyone. Even when they make their opponents bite the dust, the story finds a workaround to avoid showing death, so that the protagonist cannot be held directly responsible.

One character in particular may have grand things planned in the future. Flame Emperor Sabo has already established his prowess in the series, and through a recent interview with Oda, it seems the character will reach his fullest potential soon.

Devil Fruits are a mysterious concept in the world of One Piece. It is involved in every aspect of the series and was introduced at the very beginning of One Piece. There are innumerable theories surrounding them, and Eiichiro Oda isn’t even done with his tale yet.

However, fans still have some burning questions about the Devil Fruit, the biggest one of which Eiichiro Oda has already answered.

In the world of anime, where tons of anime series are present, two names stand tall as the most popular shows: One Piece and Naruto. Both of these titles are known for featuring one too many episodes, whereas the former is still going strong, showing no signs of slowing down.

While the two series are renowned, both have different stories and unique characters that fans hold close to their hearts. As a result, the fandoms have often engaged in heated debates, where they would go all out to prove that their favorite series is better than the other.
However, it looks like Naruto fans have messed up this time because a fan made a bold claim on social media, that Konan might be stronger than many characters featured in Oda-Sensei’s magnum opus. This opinion has not sat well with the other fandom, as...

For many fans, the charm of Marineford War is unparalleled in One Piece. From a strong and compelling set-up to an unnerving conclusion, the war arc was full of surprising twists. Some of the biggest names of the One Piece world assembled on the same battlefield only for things to spiral out of control. One of the most epic storylines of One Piece, the Marineford arc is a complete package that takes fans through a rollercoaster ride of emotions. From Shanks to Zoro, One Piece has some of the iconic fights in the series. While the series is known for its impact frames, there’s more to it. Its finesse lies in the animators’ detail-oriented work. Despite its criticism of heavily laden impact frames, the intricacies are often overlooked. This holds especially true with the recent episode.

Monkey D. Dragon is a major figure in One Piece as he leads the Revolutionary movement against the World Government. But apart from being Luffy’s father and someone with deep connections, not much is known about his origin and intent.
He is considered a dangerous man as well as a huge threat to the evil schemes of Imu. But why does he hate the World Government specifically? His origin and stand might be explained by following a few hints scattered throughout One Piece.

Their skin is often decorated by tattoos that cover large areas of their bodies, though they all have different tattoos on different areas of their bodies. In a recent tweet, an X user compared the dynamic of One Piece’s Koby and Monkey D. Garp to My Hero Academia’s Deku and All Might. This caused fans to barrage a ton of criticism towards the actions of Garp in certain events of One Piece which make him an unfit comparison to All Might, who has consistently cared for all of the students in My Hero Academia.
Many fans still blame Garp for the events of Marineford and his much more passive role in the overall plot of One Piece. Meanwhile, All Might’s influence is vast in My Hero Academia.

The subsequent roles that Garp and All Might play are completely different, considering the worlds of the anime they are in are also incredibly distinct. It’s important to think critically about Garp’s role in One Piece.

It is pretty evident by now that the tyranny of the World Government and the Celestial Dragons in One Piece is too brutal and cruel for the general public. They have been taking advantage of them, abusing them, and even killing them to maintain their authority as the Supreme Power of the One Piece world. However, there are some characters who are fighting against this tyranny.

The first and foremost is the Revolutionary Army, headed by Monkey D. Dragon. As Dragon has seen the evil atrocities of the World Government and the Nobles firsthand, he decided to form an organization that would battle against them. Another character who has been irritated by the World Government for the longest time is Fujitora, the Admiral who was appointed after Akainu and Kuzan.

Eiichiro Oda has showcased this fact numerous times through his magnum opus, yet the fans never pay attention. All the Admirals have proved their strengths but remain criminally underrated. Even during the Egghead arc, Monkey D. Luffy’s facial expression changed after he felt Kizaru’s Haki.
