Paramore have announced Re: This Is Why, a remixed and reworked version of their latest album out this Friday, October 6th.
The band described the project as “almost a remix album” in a statement on social media. “We’ve long wanted to recognize the connection we have with some of the artists who’ve influenced us as a band and/or who have cited our band as an influence,” they shared. “Some of the songs have been remixed sort of classically, while others were reworked or rewritten. It’s incredible to hear all our worlds colliding.” Pre-saves for the album are ongoing. See the artwork below.
The announcement comes after Paramore shared snippets of remixes of songs (via The Line of Best Fit) from the original album, This Is Why, on their Discord server, including “Thick Skull” featuring Julien Baker, “Liar” with The xx’s Romy on vocals, Remi Wolf’s take on “You First,...

Paramore have removed former band member Jeremy Davis from the artwork of their self-titled album.
Released in 2013 and featuring the singles “Now” and “Still Into You”, Paramore featured album art showing Davis, singer Hayley Williams and guitarist Taylor York stood against a black background.
On Tuesday (15 November), Kerrang reported that the picture had been swapped out on streaming for an image of a person with red hair (presumably Williams) wearing a denim jacket emblazoned with the words “grow up”.
It is not known when the album art was changed, but many fans have speculated that it is a move to further distance themselves from Davis.
The bassist left the pop punk band in December 2015, having previously departed then returned in 2005 and 2007 respectively.
Months after his final departure, the musician sued Paramore twice, claiming he wasn’t fairly paid for his contributions to the group. The lawsuit was settled in May 2017.

Kevin Lewis is the director of “Willys Wonderland” starring Nicolas Cage as The Janitor, which is available today on VOD.
Who is The Janitor? Is he a quiet drifter who stumbles upon a band of murderous, satanic-possessed animatronics? Yes. Is he Nicolas Cage, who is not only one of the most amazing actors, but a wonderful partner to make a movie with? Absolutely yes. Is he G.O. Parsons, who wrote a wholly original script? 100 percent yes. Is he Jeremy Daniel Davis, who worked tirelessly every day for years to see “Willy’s Wonderland” finally get to the finish line? A resounding yes.
Is he the producers who pushed relentlessly hard to see this movie get made? No doubt yes. Is he Emoi, who not only gave Willy a voice that wasn’t written on the page, but also composed a pulse-pounding soundtrack that is the heart and soul of “Willy’s Wonderland?...

Nicolas Cage thriller “Willy’s Wonderland” has sold to most international territories, including the U.K., Canada, Australia, Italy, Germany and Latin America, by Foresight Unlimited at the Cannes virtual market.
Cage portrays an out-of-towner forced to clean a family entertainment center in exchange for having his car serviced after it breaks down. He, along with some locals, must then survive a hellish night trapped inside with animatronic characters that have turned evil.
The film also stars Emily Tosta, Beth Grant, Ric Reitz and Chris Warner and is directed by Kevin Lewis. The screenplay, which was on the Blood List, was written by G.O. Parsons.
Foresight Unlimited Chairman Mark Damon said, “Certainly, part of the reason Willy’s Wonderland is selling so well, is the spike in demand for mid-range genre thriller titles with a name actor attached. But particularly since this film has the makings to become a cult classic,...
