One of the leading family channels on YouTube is at the head of an unchanged top five in our weekly U.S. Top 50 ranking. The most-watched U.S.-based channels are consolidating their advantages as the calendar turns over to September.

Further down the chart, a friendly YouTube rivalry is lifting up some sports-focused channels.

Toys and Colors finished #1 in the final three U.S. Top 50s of August, and it continued that pattern during the first week of September. That’s when the kid-friendly hub collected 703.6 million weekly views to land (once again) in first place in our all-American ranking.

Exclusive: Piers Morgan is holding talks with News Corp amid uncertainty over whether his eight-figure exclusive deal will be renewed.

Morgan inked a three-year contract with Rupert Murdoch’s media empire in 2021 and, as the deal’s expiration draws closer, two sources said conversations are underway about the presenter’s future.

One well-placed industry insider said it was unlikely Morgan’s reported £50M ($65M) agreement would be renewed in its current form and there are questions over whether it will be re-upped at all.

It is possible that Morgan could continue with some of his duties for News Corp, but drop others. Talks are ongoing and nothing has been finalized.

Morgan and News Corp declined to comment.

Morgan’s multifaceted output has already changed over the past three years. He joined primarily as the face of TalkTV, Murdoch’s bid to launch a conservative-leaning news network in the UK.

The 39-year-old soccer superstar went for a dip in the French Riviera with longtime love Georgina Rodriguez while on a romantic getaway on Saturday afternoon (August 31) in the South of France.

Cristiano showed off his ripped shirtless physique in a dark green bathing suit as he climbed back onto their yacht while Georgina, 30, rocked a white bikini.

The following day, Georgina took to Instagram to share a bunch of photos and videos from their vacation during a stop in Monaco, including some cute pics of their kids.

“Os amo♥️,” Georgina captioned the post, which translates from Spanish to, “I love them.”

At press time this morning, that number had ballooned to over 30 million — again the setting the record for the quickest channel to achieve that figure.
