Dave Kraft, a former NFL reporter is an award-winning screenwriter and feature film producer known for his emotionally charged, high-stakes thrillers. His screenplay, FULL CONTACT which has inspired a hard-hitting novel is ready to explode onto the big screen as a full-length motion picture.
His follow up feature in development is Imposters of the Third Reich, an Action War Thriller.
Through his work in motion pictures, video-game design, digital illustration and NFL reporting, Kraft has developed a keen knowledge of screenwriting, visual arts, and social media marketing. He has honed his skills across a wide spectrum of entertainment media, working for companies and clients such as Microsoft, American Laser Games, Dallas Cowboys Times, Wolf Stuntworks, Brock Allen Casting, the Austin Film Festival, FOX "The Sports Zoo" & Motive Entertainment. Kraft's motion picture credits include casting assistant for The Ringer (starring Johnny Knoxville) and Friday Night Lights (starring Billy Bob Thornton, Derek Luke and Lucas Black), which won the ESPY Award for Best Movie.
His first produced feature was Faith & Bullets, starring David Stokey (Master of the Game, Friday Night Lights). Kraft also filled the roles of Props/Weapons Master and Set Decorator, followed by being drafted by his mentor Dr. Bonnie Orr as Art Director for her HBO TV pilot Poodle Dog Lounge. Kraft made his dialogue acting debut on the TV series Eye for an Eye, a weekly pseudo-court room program.
While attending Spectrum Institute for the Advertising Arts, Kraft earned a full scholarship awarded to the school's "most ambitious student." During his second year of commercial art studies, he interned at 30 Second Street, a national award-winning commercial video production studio. This is when his love of board illustration expanded into computer animation. His illustration awards include First Place at the Robotech Fantasy Convention in Philadelphia, P.A. and Second Place in Albuquerque New Mexico State Fair's Professional Fine Arts Gallery.
