Mads Mikkelsen ("Hannibal," "Casino Royale") is set to star in Diego Rafecas' drama "First Law". Set in the jungles of Argentina, Armand Assante and Adriana Barraza co-star.

Melissa Leo will join James Franco in Ian Olds' "The Fixer", a film based on the novel by Bernard Malamud. Filming takes place in California and Morocco this Summer.

Mads Mikkelsen will probably do something awesome in brewing true story tale "First Law." Set to be directed by Diego Rafecas, and co-starring Armand Assante and Adriana Barraza, the Argentina set story follows "two brothers—one under the wing of a shaman, the other working for a corrupt mega-corporation—who must choose where their loyalties lie when their ancestral home faces destruction." No word yet on when production might begin, but it's probably safe to say Mikkelsen will be the face of that evil company. [Deadline] "Troll Hunter" director Andre Øvredal has tapped Martin Sheen to star in "The Autopsy of Jane Doe." The psychological horror flick, penned by Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing, follows "a small-town mortician who receives a mysterious homicide victim, a beautiful young 'Jane Doe,' with no apparent cause of death." Berlin – Mads Mikkelsen, the star of NBC's Hannibal and Thomas Vinterberg's Oscar-nominated The Hunt, has joined First Law, a feature written and directed by Argentine helmer Diego Rafecas (Paco). Veteran actors Armand Assante (Judge Dredd) and the Oscar-nominated Adriana Barraza (Babel) co-star in the feature, for which Stealth Media Group is handling international sales.
