Netflix has expanded the Season 2 cast for To All The Boys spinoff series Xo, Kitty, as production gets underway in Seoul. (You can watch a start of production clip below). “Xo, Kitty” Season 2 is kicking off production with the addition of three new cast members.

Variety has learned exclusively that Audrey Huynh, Sasha Bhasin (“Brave the Dark”), and Joshua Lee (“Gangnam Project”) have all joined the second season of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” spinoff series at Netflix. Production is now underway in Seoul.

Huynh will appear in the series regular role of Stella, while Bhasin and Lee will recur in the roles of Praveena and Jin respectively.

The three join series lead Anna Cathcart as well as cast members Minyeong Choi, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Anthony Keyvan, Regan Aliyah, and Jocelyn Shelfo.

Exclusive: Charmed is the latest scripted series whose restarted production has been disrupted by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Filming on the CW drama has been paused for a day Wednesday as an individual from the production has tested positive for Covid-19, Deadline has learned. CBS Studios, which is behind Charmed, is following Covid protocols and conducting contact tracing, sources said.

The CW’s reboot of the fantasy drama, which films in Vancouver, previously shut down production last month for several days over delays in Covid-19 test results for cast and crew that impacted most series based there.

Charmed is set to premiere its third season on the CW on January 24.

The reboot of the series, which was created by Constance M. Burge and produced by Aaron Spelling that ran on the WB from 1998-2006, follows three sisters — played by Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery and Madeleine Mantock — after the tragic death of their mother.

The novel is a romantic comedy of errors featuring a lost engagement ring, a stolen cell phone, and two strangers who find each other…just as one of them is about to marry someone else.

Kinsella is well-known for her Shopaholic novel series, which was adapted into the film Confessions of a Shopaholic starring Isla Fisher in 2009. Since her debut in 1995, Kinsella’s books have sold over 40 million copies in more than 60 countries, and been translated into over 40 languages.

Say hello to the new Charmed ones! The remake of the hit 1998 show Charmed is officially coming to The CW this Fall, and we already have the first look. Not only do the photos give us a glimpse of the three witch sisters, played by Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, and Madeleine Mantock, but we also have a look at the sacred Book of Shadows. Let's just say, the attic is basically an exact replica of the Halliwell sisters' home.

The series, which is being written by Jessica O'Toole and Amy Rardin (Jane the Virgin), has been generating mixed reactions since it was first announced in January, especially from the original cast. While Shannen Doherty (who played Prue Halliwell from seasons one to three) is keeping an open mind about the revival, Holly Marie Combs (who played Piper Halliwell) is clearly against it. Charmed is officially coming to The CW this Fall, and now we have our first look at the new witch sisters, played by Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, and Madeleine Mantock, in action.

The reboot, written by Jessica O'Toole and Amy Rardin (Jane the Virgin), is inspired by the beloved 1998 series and has elicited a strong reaction from both fans and naysayers alike. "Omg!!! Much more than I expected! My heart has stopped! I can't wait!!!!!!" one fan tweeted. "The old cast is gone . . . it will never be the same without Phoebe, Piper, Paige and Pru[e]," another person wrote.

Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty, who played Piper and Prue Halliwell respectively, have expressed their opinions on the reboot also. "Charmed belongs to the 4 of us, our vast amount of writers, crews and predominantly the fans," Combs tweeted.

The CW Network presented its 2018-19 primetime schedule to advertisers, affiliates, and press today, at the New York City Center in New York City.

"It is such an exciting time at The CW. We are thriving, innovating, and now we're expanding, adding Sunday nights to our primetime lineup this fall. Starting in October, we will have 12 hours of original scripted series on our schedule - more than any other broadcast network besides CBS," said Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW.

Nicollette Sheridan (Alexis Carrington) has been upped to series regular when Dynasty returns for its second season in the fall.
