Janet Hetherington is a writer, artist, screenwriter and animator who lives in Ottawa, Canada. Janet's work appears in her creator-owned comic book series Eternal Romance, as well as the best-selling comics anthology The Secret Loves of Geek Girls. Gothic Tales of Haunted Love, and other places. Janet scripted the Elvira, Mistress of the Dark comic book for six years. Janet is a produced screenwriter, and her scripts for the film noir Murder in High Heels as well as the retro science-fiction actioner Galaxy Warriors are both produced by Gray Chance Films. Janet's horror thriller spec script Black Goose of Baldoon -- the best supernatural flying dinosaur script you will ever read -- is a multiple award-winner. Janet loves to write horror, action, comedy, animation and anything comics based! As former editor of the Canadian Toy Testing Council's Toy Report, she is great with toy IP. In 2022, Janet launched Hetheringtoons, her animation brand (on the 25th anniversary of Eternal Romance). Janet lives and works with Joe Shuster Hall of Fame award winner, comics artist Ronn Sutton.
