John Carlo Lockmer is an award-winning director, producer, and writer. He has produced several independent short films, most of which were created in less than two weeks. He was nominated twice in 2023 for Best Director at the 168 Film Festival for Flatline and The Likes of Us. In 2022, his film/musical "Where is My Song?" won 8 awards, including Best Film and Best Director. His Animated Film "Love Like a Hero" Won Best Virtual Film in 2021, and His Film D.O.G won Best Comedy in 2019 (168Film Festival) . He was also nominated for Best Director in Lock-Man Production short Film "The Paperclip", a film that won Runner-up best Film in 2016. His films have received awards in festivals throughout the U.S. He has also received two innovation awards in 2023 for both video and Print.

He grew up in Bolivia until the Financial depression in Bolivia drove his family to the United States in the early 80s. He spends most of His time working at ad agencies helping Fortune 500 brands and has been featured in Digiday and eMarketer for his expertise in MarTech.
