Ashley Fisher(VI)

Ashley Fisher was born Ashley Reid In Oak Park, Illinois in 1983. She moved to Plano, Texas with her parents and older sisters when she was only 1 year old. Ashley followed her dream to the City of Angels, moving to Los Angeles in 2003. The move was to suffice her need to enroll in a theatre institute to fully immerse in the art of acting. Growing up in Texas, Ashley took after her sister Aisha and pursued modeling. She loved taking pictures. Ashley was a cheerleader for Carpenter Midle Scool, Clark High School, and Plano East Senior High School. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington from 2001 - 2003 and studied in depth Psychology courses for her major. Ashley was enrolled in acting courses at UTA and still pursuing fashion shows when she moved to Los Angeles. Her teacher was a huge inspiration for the move. Ashley immediately auditioned and got accepted into The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in the heart of Hollywood where she studied intense acting courses. She committed to pursuing a career in acting, performing in independent films and stage plays, and continuing her education with some of the best acting coaches in Los Angeles. Ashley joined a touring acting troupe, performing Shakespeare Under the Moon for fans and theatre lovers around Southern California. She recently completed roles for television and also has done commercial work that can be seen nationwide.

Ashley is a bright, young actress that continues to grow with training to keep current with her craft. Her winning personality and charisma are sure to keep her star shining bright for years to come.

Ashley's sister Jeannette died in 1996 at the age of 25 when Ashley was only 13 years old. She is a constant inspiration to push forward and stay positive. Ashley declares proudly that she persists with the guidance of her sister shining down upon her. She also credits James Dean, Meryl Streep, and Lucille Ball.
