Carlos Albornoz is a Toronto based Actor. He has been featured on hit television shows, Grand Army, Kim's Convenience, Schitts Creek, and was cast as Prince Markie Dee in the Salt-n-Pepa biopic.
As a child, Carlos would constantly daydream about being on set. He would imagine lights and cameras surrounding him on his walks home from school and would never run out of make-believe acting partners. After graduating high school, Carlos entered the workforce, believing that he could not make a career out of acting. After being laid-off his "Safety job", he decided to pursue what made him most happy. "I'm just a guy who decided to chase a dream, and it was the best decision of my life". Carlos went on to study Theatre Performance at Humber, School of Creative and Performing Arts, where he was exposed to various acting techniques and methods. He strives to create and develop Latino-Canadian stories, giving a voice to Latino youth and communities. He is also working on developing, directing and producing his own films and TV shows.
