Johnny Rock(I)

Johnny Rock was born in Jacksonville Florida. He grew up in New Orleans La where he became a stand up comedian at the age of 18 years old. In 1984 he was a finalist in Showtimes "Funniest Person in America" competition. In 1988 he began working in radio (KONO AM-FM) while living in San Antonio, TX where he also owned and operated an Elvis Presley museum. In 2005 he returned to New Orleans and began his acting career. His most notable role was a recurring role on Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots. Besides acting Johnny Rock is also the owner of Johnny Rock and Roll Radio which is heard in 134 countries and can be heard by going to johnnyrockandrollradio.org In 2022 Johnny Rock was declared an Ambassador for the State of Louisiana for his dedication to promote the music and the artist from the State. Johnny Rock also received The Louisiana Volunteer Service Award from the Lieutenant Governor.
