- Born and raised in Cape May, NJ, Kathleen grew up either the palest or most sunburned on the beach. She spent her senior year of high school in Germany on a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange scholarship and then carried her experiences abroad to Yale where she majored in History and International Studies with a focus on Human Rights Law - until she decided what she really wanted to be was an actor. Kathleen graduated with a BA in History and Theatre and earned distinction in the Theatre Major.
In her post-college years in NYC, Kathleen dabbled in stand-up comedy and Internet start-ups, while continuing to do theater and commercials. In New York, she was honored to be in the world premiere of Dennis Lehane's Coronado, which was a New York Times Critic's Pick. Regional highlights include Catherine in Proof and Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker.
Kathleen went on to train at the National Theatre Conservatory where she performed as part of the Denver Center Theatre Company, which felt like winning the lottery. Kathleen has a passion for teaching Liquid Strength(TM), developing new work with NYC-based companies Amios and East 3rd, training in aerial arts with Fight or Flight, and enjoying life surrounded by good people.
