Born in San Diego, California. Won the Student Emmy Award for her short
film "Artistic License." Gained awards for the experiment piece "Yard
Bowling" and her music video "Sister Morphine." Has been a professor at
The Academy of Art University since 1995. (2011) Director of Editing in
the School of Motion Pictures and Television at The Academy of Art
University. Her students have won awards for the work created under her guidance including an award for Best Movie Trailer at the Variety Key Art Awards. She edited "The Book: They Came From Inner Space" with French filmmaker Richard Weiss's. This was his debut feature. The film did very well in the festival circuit, taking home more than a dozen awards including Los Angeles Movie Awards for Best Editing, 2011, Los Angeles Reel Film Festival for Best Narrative Feature, 2011 and Indie Fest for Award Of Merit: Feature Film.
