Philippe Andre is a French writer director. After Film school in Paris, he started to work for the Museum of Modern Art and The Centre Pompidou, transitioning into award winning music videos and commercials.
His sci-fi - romance ''The Rope'' won Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Short Film at the 1 Reel Film Festival - Seattle International Film Festival.
''Delicate Gravity'' released at Cannes Film Festival was awarded Best of the Festival at Palm Springs International ShortFest, Best of the Festival and Best Foreign Film at Nevada City Film Festival, and Audience Choice Award at the Bermuda International Film festival. It was short listed at the Academy Awards for Oscar consideration in 2014 and was released on Amazon Prime US.
In 2016, ''Everything's perfect'' was screened at the MoMa in New York, at the Tate Modern and the British Film Institute in London.
In 2017, he directed "Just Another Day" for the charity Age UK in collaboration with Channel 4.
In 2018, he wrote and directed "Laura_jsd90" for the Feminist Collective Against Rape. It won Cristal Award, London International Award and Eurobest for Best Script, Best Casting and Best Performance.
Philippe is developing feature film & TV projects.
