Football was Michael's ultimate passion until a severe knee and
shoulder injury in his senior year shattered his dreams. A Summa honors
student, Michael has always possessed a zest for doing what most other
people cannot attain. This ambition led him to the entertainment world
where he has worked in multiple capacities for many years.
He played hockey, football, and rugby competitively--a born leader, he was a team captain in all 3 sports, winning awards and championships in all 3 sports as well.
Michael attended the University of Calgary on an academic scholarship. He quickly became bored with his studies. Even though he did not attend classes, and did more partying than studying, he still managed to attain honors status in his grades. His boredom made him decide to leave University and at the age of 18, when he proceeded wrote his first novel.
Years later, he found himself going from startup company to startup company, as they are always provided a big challenge. At the age of 25, he found himself as the Associate Publisher of a magazine---having moved up from a salesperson to Director of Sales, to Staff Writer, to Head Writer, to Creative Director, and finally Associate Publisher and part owner of the magazine.
At the age of 26, by a weird twist of fate, Michael ended up at a talent agency where he instantly became hooked. Seeing how this could tie in all of his passions and provide unlimited opportunity and different challenges, the rest is history...
