Marcia is of 2nd generation West Indian origin, her mother is from the
beautiful small island of St Kitts & Nevis, while her dad is from

Upon doing her BA Degree in Filmmaking, Marcia had wrote and directed an autobiographical documentary film based on her own childhood upbringing. Marcia was born in the Chinese year of the Dragon of which her family consider this to be a special honor and are very proud that she is pursuing her love of acting.
Marcia is especially grateful to the opportunity given to her by her 1st mentor 'Liz Light', Founder of Stage 2 Youth Group, who is the sister of the actor John Light and a third cousin of the poet Laurie Lee and film director Jack Lee. Liz had taken Marcia under her wing and introduced Marcia to the theatre which then led Marcia in the direction of Drama School.
An early example of Marcia's work was when she did her electrifying and dark portrayal of "Sophocles' 'Electra" for her drama school production. Marcia had managed to take the tragedies of her own life and simply place them within the construct of Electra's mind, thus displaying more depth and grit to the 'lamenting princess'.
Marcia's claims to fame include the following roles as Tina in BBC's "Dangerfield" starring Nigel Havers, Charlie in C5's "Family Affairs" starring Idris Elba, Valerie in Granada's "In Defence" starring Ross Kemp.
Marcia was also part of the 5 comedy actors used for the UK's hit reality TV Show "O2/Big Brother 3's" mobile phone national & european wide network campaign, for the UK's biggest cell phone company O2 which was in association with 4Creative, a production company part of the UK's Channel 4 network back in 2002.
Marcia stars as Nyree in the highly acclaimed 6 part web series "Dragon Age: Redemption", based on EA Games/BioWare's Dragon Age, which also stars Doug Jones & Felicia Day.
