Hey, "NCIS: Los Angeles" fans. We are back with another new spoiler article for you guys. This time, we'll be going over the 10th episode of this current season 11, which is due out next week. Thanks to the wonderful CBS folks, we do have a new teaser description for the main plotline for episode 10. This comes via their episode 10 press release. So, let's get into it. For starters, the official title for episode 10 is called, "Mother." It sounds like episode 10 will possibly feature some very interesting, super intense, dramatic and action-filled scenes. In the new episode 10, a guest character named Akhos Laos will show up on the scene. He is a former black ops agent that was originally recruited by Hetty Lange. Apparently, Akhos did not appreciate something that went down in the past because he will be back to seek out revenge against Hetty for introducing him to this way of life.

Yasuomi Umetsu’s (chief animator for Arms Corporation who has also worked as a designer on Akira, Spriggan, Elfen Lied and Casshern) original anime Kite was, when first released in 1998, a highly controversial graphic story of hard, gory action and illicit eroticism. Banned in certain countries across the globe due to its scenes of rape and revenge, in Japan it has sold nearly a million DVD units. It has also been released in Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Russian, Czech Republic, Slovakia and the United States – where it remains popular; yet the original Ova and its sequel, have never had a UK release. In fact this Us film adaptation is the first time the franchise has been legitimately available in this country.

Dominion Review
Syfy has a tricky base of fans, and Dominion may just be the kind of crazy that works for a lot of them. The network’s identity can seem a bit polarizing, with Haven, Helix, and Being Human fans perhaps not wanting to identify themselves as also Sharknado fans. That leaves an area open which some consider to be something like “mid-range Syfy.” Different shows fall in different places on the hokey spectrum depending on who you ask, but Dominion, based on the 2010 film Legion, is clearly trying to see just how far you can push things.
Much like the film that came before (and indeed, Sharknado), Dominion sidesteps certain requirements of cohesion, believability, and logical construction and/or characters, by having a basic premise so bonkers that it is ultimately critique immune. It’s a story about angels attacking humans because God “disappeared.” If you want characters...

With "Dominion" premiering June 19th, Syfy recently hosted a conference call with star Chris Egan and exec producer/creator Vaun Wilmott, and we have the highlights for you here.
Settle in a bit because it's a long, wide-ranging discussion that touches upon the mythology of the TV show vs. the movie (2010's Legion) and how things have changed - Wilmott promises for the better - in this adaptation. He also describes the caste system in place in Vega society, what other worlds and supernatural beings we might see, and what the plan is for future seasons.
Egan elaborates on his character (soldier Alex Lannon) and his relationships with both the Archangel Michael and the upper class Claire Riesen. Of course the great Anthony Head's name comes up as well as how much like the angels we know from religion these guys really are.
But that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Dominion is an epic supernatural drama set in the near future. Specifically, 25 years after “The Extinction War,” when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, waged war against mankind. I didn’t mind 2010′s Legion, Scott Stewart’s supernatural action fantasy about the Archangel Michael (Paul Bettany) protecting a group of diner patrons during an apocalypse in which angels are sent by God to wipe out mankind. It was pretty much the definition of mediocre, complete with a few decent performances, strong visual effects and laughable dialogue. Still, there was a certain type of mindless fun to be had with the movie, particularly with the R-rating allowing for all kinds of gruesome bloodshed. That said, I certainly wasn’t chomping at the bit for a follow-up.
Regardless, we’re getting one in the form of Syfy’s upcoming series Dominion, set 25 years after the events of Legion. The series follows a rebellious soldier (Christopher Egan) who discovers he may be humankind’s only chance of survival in the war against bloodthirsty angels. Michael (played by Tom Wisdom in this...

Well, what can I say, except, um, I expected something better than this 30-second first look at the upcoming new Syfy Channel show “Dominion.” This is, of course, the show based on the Scott Stewart movie “Legion,” starring Paul Bettany as an angel who comes to Earth to save the day. I really enjoy that movie — or at least, parts of it. There are whole chunks of “Legion” that are pretty terrible. Anyways, I did have high hopes for this TV series though, which we’re told “follows the perilous journey of a rebellious young soldier who discovers he’s the unlikely savior of humanity.” Plus, angels with swords and metal, bullet-deflecting wings, apparently. The show stars “Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s” Anthony Head, along with Alan Dale, Christopher Egan, Luke Allen-Gale, Carl Beukes, Chris Fisher, Shivani Ghai, Rosalind Halstead, and Roxanne McKee. I guess we’ll find out for...

It usually takes more than a week for a full-on trailer to follow up a film's teaser vid, but since yesterday was the 95th birthday of the unconquerable Nelson Mandela himself, The Weinstein Company decided to make an exception. And what a celebration it was.
In the biopic, Idris Elba stars as Nelson Mandela, the South African revolutionary who stood up against an oppressive, divisive government and spent 27 years in prison before being released and later chosen as the nation's first democratically-elected president.
Whereas the teaser for "Mandela" was decidedly optimistic and sort of all's-well-that-ends-well-ish with him romping around a meadow with happy children, this trailer for the Justin Chadwick-directed pic is much grittier and more consequential in nature.
Based on Mandela's own written autobiography of the same name, the film chronicles the Nobel Peace Prize winner's journey from a young village boy onto becoming one of the world's most revered leaders.

Chicago – Alfred Hitchcock is inarguably one of the most important and influential directors in the history of cinema. There’s no debate or controversy regarding his agreed-upon genius. However, fans of films like “Rear Window,” “Psycho,” “Vertigo,” and “The Birds” may not know that Hitch had a much darker side behind the camera. HBO’s “The Girl” sheds light on the demented psychosexual half of Hitchcock in relation to his torture of Tippi Hedren on the set of “The Birds” and “Marnie.” Starring Toby Jones as Hitch and Sienna Miller as Tippi, Julian Jarrold’s drama is a historically interesting recreation that misses the greater opportunity to tie the director’s madness to his genius in a way that’s any more insightful than, “well, this happened.”

Directed by Julian Jarrold (Becoming Jane) and starring Toby Jones as Alfred Hitchcock and Sienna Miller as Tippi Hedren, HBO's "The Girl" centers on the making of Hitchcock's The Birds and the relationship between the director and his star based on Donald Spoto's book "Spellbound By Beauty". The film will debut on HBO on October 20 and along with Jones and Miller it co-stars Imelda Staunton, Carl Beukes and Penelope Wilton as it focuses on the director's obsessive relationship with his leading lady during the making of The Birds and Marnie. As he attempted to sculpt Hedren into the perfect Hitchcock blonde of his imagination, he became obsessed with the impossible dream of winning the real woman's love. Her rejection of his misguided attempts only added to his obsession, putting both their careers and personal lives in jeopardy. Today I bring you eight pictures from the upcoming film along with...
