Yagmur was born in Istanbul in 1990. She started to be interested in cinema at Kadiköy Fine Arts High School when she was 14 years old. She had experience in short films with high school friends, so cinema turned into passion for her. Yagmur almost curiously studied all the technical information in the cinema and aimed to tell the stories in various genres. Her interest in cinema has gained a new dimension when she won the department of Visual Communication Design at Kocaeli University in 2009. Yagmur, who made double major branches in Radio, Television and Cinema, aimed to tell a lot with a square. For this reason, she had experience working in the field of framing and color information. In addition to the cinema, she was interested in advertising and animation. After her undergraduate education finished, she started her master's degree at the same university and thus strengthened her relationship with cinema in academic sense. After her two undergraduate education finished with a degree, she worked in various companies as post production assistant, supervisor assistant, VFX coordination, editing director and animation artist. She directed the short film "Soluk" (The Breath) and the medium-length animated documentary film named "Oyuncakci Sakli Yadigarlar" (The Toy Maker Hidden Heirloom). Yagmur, who has returned to her business life for a while due to the school, is currently doing editing and animation works at the Fikir Tasarim Atölyesi and she is working as a project based director at Serpil Altin Film Yapim.
