- Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Michael knew at the young age of 3 years old, that acting was his purpose in life. Growing up, he loved making his family and friends laugh by doing celebrity impersonations. It came easy to him as he was a natural, born talent and had a knack for picking up on things very quickly.
After graduating, his artistic pursuits were expanded into to the world of music. As with acting, he loved to perform around Chicago and in an array of musicals. He landed the lead role of Thomas Dorsey in "It Don't Just Shake Off", a musical about the 'father of gospel music'. He garnered positive feedback for the role which launched him into pushing for more challenging roles.
With now having worked in music and acting, momentum began to build- he moved on to polish his skills and enrolled in the famous "The Second City" in Chicago. Realizing the talent that has come out this prolific "improv" empire, Michael just knew he had to be a part of history. Subsequently, he prayed, packed his bags and gunned for Hollywood to fully focus and submerge in his acting career. Michael is in his 2nd year and scheduled to graduate from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in May 2019.
