Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, has sought to protect the rapper from the serious accusations against Sean Diddy Combs, stating that Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, has no knowledge of the charges and emphasizing that their relationship was purely professional, with no deeper connection.

Jay-Z’s attorney, speaking at the Roc Nation’s New York headquarters on Monday, emphasized that his client had no connection to the sex trafficking and racketeering charges for which Combs is er to stand trial.

“Mr. Carter has nothing to do with Mr. Combs’ case or Mr. Combs,” the lawyer stated. “They knew each other professionally for a number of years, just like in all professions, people know each other.”

Jay-Z’s attorney told reporters on Monday that the rape case against the rap mogul is “provably demonstrably false,” presenting evidence that he says explains why the story told by Jane Doe “never happened.” Alex Spiro also declared, “This is not for truth and justice. This is for money.”

Spiro spoke at Roc Nation’s New York headquarters, saying that the attorney who filed the lawsuit — Tony Buzbee — took advantage of the now 38-year-old woman who says Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs raped her at a party following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. Jay-Z’s attorney is looking to dismiss a lawsuit accusing the rapper of raping a 13-year-old girl after the Jane Doe acknowledged inconsistencies in her allegations in a new NBC News report.

In the lawsuit, originally filed in October, a woman identified only as “Jane Doe” sued Sean “Diddy” Combs for allegedly raping her at a party following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. The complaint was amended on Sunday to include the allegation that Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, was also present and participated in the assault.

In a new interview with NBC News, the Alabama woman, who is now 38, recounted what she called a “catastrophic event” 24 years ago, alleging that she was given a spiked drink and subsequently assaulted. The couple, who married in January 2015, announced the birth of their son, Cardinal, in an Instagram post as they expanded their family, reports ‘People’ magazine.

They put up a joint post on Instagram and wrote in the caption: “We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden. He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here! For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures – but he’s really cute. We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our family to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon.”

As per ‘People’, the announcement included a drawing that read, “A little bird whispered to me.”

Diaz and Madden are also parents to daughter, Raddix, who was born on December 30, 2019.

Actress Cameron Diaz has given her fans her top bit of advice for a happy relationship. The ‘Me, Myself and Irene’ star, 51, tied the knot with Benji Madden in 2015 and has continued to gush about her man and their relationship.
