Jacques Clermont(II)
- Actor
Jacques Clermont began his career at the age of 18. Over time, his passion led him to work in various communications fields, including journalism and animation, in both television and radio.
He took his first steps in radio at CKVM, then at various stations in Ontario and Quebec (Canada). His work led him to collaborate for the first time with Radio-Canada during the major NATO maneuvers in Lahr, Germany, for the Canadian Armed Forces station.
He then worked as an on-air reporter for CKAC under Raymond St-Pierre, before being hired by Jean-Pierre Coallier as a reporter, newsreader and host at station CFGL.
Radio was followed by television. Called to work at Radio-Canada as a newsreader, he was also part of the "D'un soleil à l'autre" team, and later became a journalist on the popular "Second regard" program. Following this, Jacques was hired as the official voice of Radio-Canada for no less than 20 years! Now a voice and narration specialist with an enviable track record, Jacques Clermont now lends his rich and versatile voice to a variety of projects, whether in superimposition, advertising or narration.
