Jean Charles(III)

Jéan was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti. His family relocated out of Haiti during a period of political unrest. They settled in Queens, New York. His father is an Engineer/Entrepreneur and his Mother is a nurse. Jéan fell in love with acting at a young age, studying greats like Sidney Poitier, Al Pacino and Marlon Brando. Jéans journey into acting started by playing a lead in a short art film, after being asked by a director friend to star in the production.

Afterwards, his love and curiosity for the craft intensified, so he decided in order to be the best, he would have to train like the best. Jéan completed 2 semesters at the HB Studios, and he also studied philosophy. Jéan became a father at a young age, which meant he had to step back from acting, it allowed him time to gain life experience from different fields. Now he's submerged in the craft day and night. He's a hip hop artist and a published Poet, a natural wordsmith which helps him connect with the characters he plays.

His favorite playwright is Tennessee Williams. He loves the complexity he gives the characters. Jéan has also been a high fashion model gracing the Mercedes Benz fashion week catwalks. Jéan volunteers his time to mental health awareness. He is a global citizen and loves to explore foreign lands. He resided in Germany, thinks Maui has the best pineapples and believes Japan isn't for those who like to sleep. Jéan is lover of people and street art.
