Dawn Piercy was born September 16th, 1976 to Barbara L. Taylor and Donald Ray Piercy in Phoenix, Arizona. Dawn was born into a military family, her father Donald was a commanding officer in the Vietnam war serving two consecutive tours. Being subjected to Agent Orange dumped in Vietnam, her father succumbed to the effects resulting in his untimely death. Due to the heavy saturation of Agent Orange herbicide in her fathers system, Dawn was born with a genetic mutation deeming her 2nd generation Agent Orange. Dawn's family history of military service runs deep, as she is descendant of the royals that came to America; her family served in WWII, WWI, Korean War, Civil War and practically any war that comes to mind.
At the age of 5 Dawn Piercy started acting in school plays and soon after becoming active in tap dancing, jazz dance, baton, gymnastics, tumbling, softball & martial arts. She sold her first gallery painting at 9 years old, by the age of 12 she wrote her first playwright in Franklin College Summer Theater and at age 13 her parents forced her into etiquette classes as well modeling school to curb her tomboyish nature. Despite going to 17 different schools throughout the years she was able to maintain her extracurricular activities including art club, drama club and DECA, graduating in 1995 with a 3.8 GPA.
Shortly after graduating high school, Dawn put her experiences to work landing her a job as an executive marketing PR with TV Fanfare Publications, doing business to business presentations, selling advertising and designing ads for Adcart, Marketing Information Centers as well as Sports and Soap Magazine. Within the first 3 months Dawn placed in the top 10 for national sales, within a year she was tragically involved in a car accident and shortly after involved in another car accident which placed her in a wheelchair for 4 years. Today, after 12 spinal surgeries, 2 reconstructive surgeries and 10 other miscellaneous surgeries, Dawn is able to walk again with the assistance of a permanent leg brace while still battling all of the misunderstood effects of 2nd generation Agent Orange.
Dawn Piercy is mainly known for her celebrity interview podcast & website, ANEW podcast where she interviews Emmy and award winning actors, filmmakers, legendary music artists, billboard charting artists and other various celebrities. Dawn Piercy also has a segment of her podcast called "Mariano Big Dawg's Corner" co-hosted by Mariano Mendoza ,in which they've interviewed many legendary martial arts actors, UFC and MMA fighters, decorated veterans & so much more. All this is conducted under her company Thunder's Reign, along with her gallery art, handbags & jewelry which has been on display in art galleries.
Dawn Piercy is also known for writing the 2018 film "Testimony" as well as the 2018 film "Master Chankla" which is in pre-production.
