Marcia Bales

Marcia grew up in Seattle Washington and was the daughter of Sibyl and
Harris Mortensen. Marcia attended Brigham Young University in Utah
where she received a BFA in Painting and started Post graduate work.
She worked for 8 years as a layout and story board artist for XAM
studios out of Salt Lake City who subcontracted animation layout from
Marvel and other animation houses. Tendonitis caused her to look for
something else. Animated computer games for the PC were just beginning
and she started working for Sierra On-line where she was a designer,
Art Director and Producer for 8 years for several titles including the
Shivers series. She moved to Mexico in 2001 where she owns a Mayan
inspired bed and breakfast on the beach.
